Random Death Match

Warning Appeal:
Good Morning, At around 10:35 AM, I was placed in "Moderation Jail" for committing RDM. I will state what happened on my end of the situation, I was arriving at Rochester Apartments in the 2016 Ford Interceptor, A shootout occurred and I thought the person who clipped the incident was the Suspect because she had a rifle on her. When the shootout took place, I wasn't the one who had the silenced rifle since I was on patrol as an LAPD Officer. This is the link to the clip that was provided,

Updated Final Decision: Warning Upheld – Use of Lethal Force Without Clear Justification

While the appeal showed a genuine misunderstanding of the situation, and the player may not have intended to RDM, the clip clearly shows the user opening fire on a player who was not posing an active threat, violating:

[Section 2.2] – PvP Guidelines
[Section 2.1] – Roleplay Integrity (Lethal force must be reactive or properly escalated)

There is no indication the other player fired or aimed at the officer, and the area was not clearly marked as an active threat zone. Officers must verify threats and use non-lethal options or voice warnings before engaging civilians or armed individuals who are not attacking.

Outcome:

  • Warning will remain on record

  • No escalation to further action

  • User is advised to review proper use of force standards when roleplaying as law enforcement to avoid future warnings
