Incident Description*:

Lawfully driving on the roads, following every road law possible, a cop turns on sirens and ELS behind me . I pull over, complying, and he blocks my car in. I request a reason for the stop, and I'm met at gunpoint as I'm complying and unarmed. He attempts to arrest me unlawfully and falsely, as I didn't commit a crime. So, from him pulling me over, I was met with potential lethal force with no intention to de-escalate for no reason at all, as seen in the evidence provided.

Rules Violated*:
  • Abuse of power

  • Escalation control

  • FRP

  • Detainment and arrest standards

  • Use of force

INVOLVED PARTY: Reported persons statement

Reason for the stop: In the clip at 55 seconds, you can clearly see the individual failed to use a turn signal when switching lanes, also he failed to maintain lanes swerving into the right shoulder moments prior. Additionally the vehicle was believed to have a BOLO.

Officer Jack Wicklong (IC - OOC The5150Boss) proceeded to initiate a traffic stop once the light turned green to avoid any possible confusion. Upon the vehicle failing to yield, and taking a substantial amount of time to stop- the driver jumps out of the vehicle and approaches officer Wicklong, which raises officer safety issues. Under cases Pennsylvania v. Mimms and Maryland v. Wilson Law Enforcement Officers are granted lawful permission to order an individual out of the vehicle and detain them during a traffic stop. At the time, Wicklong believed the individual to be a threat, due to the fact he jumped out of a vehicle after taking a substantial amount of time to yeild. He then ordered the individual BACK out after jumping back into the vehicle. He then refused which grants Probable Cause for an arrest under Failure to Comply, - or Resisting arrest w/o force later down the road. The individual then proceeded to being fleeing on foot towards a tree and (OOC: then LTAA'd)

I would like to also report the original reporter for the LTAA offense, as there was no 'rule-break' - everything is justified by reasoning IC.
