Question About An Appeals

If I believe somebody banned me for an invalid reason & because of moderator error and it got appealed however with OSP, isn't the OSP invalid? I was banned in June for alleged V-TOS for saying something in game when I was being antagonized and when a moderator did not act properly when going over a mod sit with somebody I had reported and long story short, I wind up getting banned because I verbally defended myself from somebody who had been saying worse than what I was saying. I wanted to know if I should return to that or even try to appeal that case because the OSP wound up getting me banned permanently for another misunderstanding and I've been banned from MI games for about 2 months now. I also heard there was a cool down with appealing OSP bans as well, which is why I'm just now asking about it here. If there are more details I can give regarding it I'd be happy to talk via DMs w/ a MI Staff Team member that handles appeals or anything of the sort to sort the issue out (notspyridon is my user). I feel like it would be pointless don't to spend/waste time with an appeal that won't give immediate answers/context.
