At approximately 3:00 AM on July 11, 2025, while roleplaying as an LAPD Law Enforcement Officer in Los Angeles, a BOLO (Be On the Lookout) was issued for a suspect vehicle. Upon arriving at the scene, I located and arrested the suspect without issue. While securing the area and processing the scene, a bystander approached and began physically assaulting my character using melee attacks (fists). In response, I escalated through appropriate tactical options, starting with hand-to-hand combat, then deploying my Taser, and subsequently using OC spray. Despite these measures, the suspect managed to enter my patrol vehicle and attempted to steal it. After issuing multiple verbal commands which were ignored, I was left with no choice but to discharge my firearm to prevent the suspect from fleeing with the vehicle.
Shortly after the incident, player “ardyvehn” (the subject of this report) arrived on scene. His initial concern was not the incident at hand, but rather the similarity between our avatars. He accused me of “copying his avatar,” despite avatar customization items being public and freely available in the Roblox store. This matter escalated unnecessarily into an argument initiated by “ardyvehn,” although there is no rule prohibiting similar avatars. He then shifted focus to the use-of-force incident. I explained the situation in character and attempted to clarify my actions. During the exchange, “ardyvehn” instructed me to “stand by.” At that point, I informed him that due to the late hour (3:00 AM PST), I would be logging off soon. He then broke character, saying, “Maybe you should be sleeping instead of wasting your sleeping times.” I replied, “Since when are you my father?” to which he responded, “Hahaha that would be such a shame, I am so thankful I am not.” The behavior displayed by “ardyvehn” was unprofessional, unnecessarily escalated a minor issue, and involved multiple instances of breaking character. His personal remarks were inappropriate and detracted from the immersive environment we aim to maintain in this roleplay community. I am submitting this report for review and any disciplinary action deemed necessary by staff.
