When you get close enough to an Officers Holster, a proximity prompt would appear allowing users to grab the officers gun. The Officer will be given 1.5 seconds to react by lets say clicking a key/button on their screen as an notification will show when the proximity prompt has been interacted with. If the Officer fails to react within the time given, the pistol will be transferred from the Officers Inventory to the civilian who initiated the prompt.
Why This Would Improve the Game:
There has been countless incidents where a suspect has tried to reach for an officers firearm as the suspect themselves do not own a firearm, I believe this feature would improve the game in terms of realism. I got this idea after watching countless bodycams of police officers in line of duty and the outcome of these actions has always been interesting to me as the Officer would have a to make a split second decision that could either end in his life being taken or the suspects.
