What Happened?
Hi Mountain Interactive moderation team, so I just got banned for RDM, FRP, NITRP, tool abuse, and lying to staff. Here’s what happened. I had stopped in front of LAPD’s garage and was trying to look inside their gate when I accidentally pulled my rifle out twice — this was 100% a misclick (or mistype, I should say). I then went back to my car and saw it being towed by the actual staff member who later banned me. I ran up and shot him — something I now realize I definitely should not have done. After that, I tried to get into my car and ran back around to the garage. I thought the LAPD would come out and shoot me, so I went up and just held my gun aimed at the garage. They didn’t really come out until a few minutes later, when I was already in the staff member’s jail moderation sit. I explained to the staff member that I shot him because he was towing my car, and we had a brief conversation about it. I don’t remember exactly what was said, but he told me I shouldn’t have shot him and should have talked to him instead. I said, “Oh, sorry about that.” Then he asked about my record, and I said it was clear because I genuinely thought it was — I believed the moderation wipe from a month or two ago had reset my record. However, he informed me that I still had a large number of moderations, which is why I was permanently banned. I was banned for RDM, which makes sense since I ran up and shot him, however he was towing my car and I was part of the scene so would that really still be RDM? I can also see why I was banned for FRP — running up and shooting him wasn’t realistic, and in real life, someone would likely have reacted differently first. For tool abuse, I understand that pulling out and using my gun like that was unrealistic. As for lying to staff, I had absolutely no intention of lying — I truly thought my record was clear, and I apologized immediately when told otherwise. I was also banned for NITRP.

Why Should You Be Unbanned?
In conclusion, I 100% understand that I do have a history. And I do have a history of another permanent ban which was actually accidental on my side and that was successfully appealed. However, I have had multiple RDM and FRP moderations I believe. However, I now understand that I do have a record and that I really need to play it safe if I am given another chance. I’m really sorry for this whole incident. I love this game. I am ranked in LASD and LAPD and truly enjoy roleplaying — it’s something I look forward to every day after hearing the last school bell. Well, the thing is that for the RDM, I was kinda part of the scene, so would that be RDM if he was towing my car and I shot him? Also, I didn't intend to lie to the staff. I also apologized after I realized that I had lied.
