As you can hear in the above video, around the 1:15 minute mark, @David clearly states, and I quote “If an LASD member is in roleplay doing something that’s corrupt then you RP it out, get a supervisor, […]” and continues on “If they are abusing tools, RDM and stuff like that, that’s for department heads, so it doesn’t even have anything to do with you […]”.
The actions that lead to my ban all fall under one of those categories. Hence, the ban has absolutely no standing.
Furthermore, I would like to point out that LASD Deputy Gangs are regularly involved in beating up handcuffed detainees (see L.A. Times, Leaked L.A. County Sheriff’s Department surveillance video shows inmate beaten by deputies). It can hence be argued that, within the context of a booking station, a beating of a suspect is constructed as roleplay, especially on the LASD team. It is also vital to mention that the alleged “proof” is a barely two minutes long clip of an interaction that lasted well over 5 minutes. I hope to not have to remind an eventual reader of the dangers of out of context clips…
