Mountain Interactive Acquires Game Framework from Johnson Studios

We’re excited to announce that Mountain Interactive has officially acquired the game framework and assets previously developed under the name Rosewood from Johnson Studios.

As we move forward with this project, we would like to clarify a few important points for our community and players:

Mountain Interactive will not be using the original Johnson Studios universe names, lore, or fictional cities — such as Rosewood or Fairhaven — in our future development. The project is currently being developed internally under the name Project Delta, with the intention of fully transitioning the game’s setting and branding to reflect a Los Angeles-based environment, built on real-life lore.

Our development team will be focusing on fixing known bugs, improving performance, introducing new features, and building an entirely distinct and immersive experience that aligns with Mountain Interactive’s vision.

We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to Rilesjan and Shadow_Apex for their collaboration and support throughout this acquisition. Additionally, we welcome Sourced_V and Osoemic, who will now be contributing to the project as part of the Mountain Interactive Development Team.

We’re looking forward to sharing more updates soon — exciting things are on the horizon for Project Delta!
