Which Mountain Interactive Servers Do You Play Most?

First time when I came across Mountain Interactive, I remember playing Victor Valley, a fair amount. I don't exactly remember the timeline, but then Perris was the new game that was being still developed, and I remember there being a decent amount of hype. I then started playing Perris for a while, when I started losing interest due to the performance issues that I had, and around that time there was still people going out RDM:ing people and most of the time just Fail Roleplay. Somewhere near February or March, my eyes caught the attention of this brand new game called "Los Angeles" which was way better than it was last year. I have now started to play more on Mountain Interactive's games, and I've been enjoying the game a lot with the amusing roleplay scenarios and the realism of the game. So in a short answer, I find myself to prefer more Los Angeles over Perris, but I can easily say that Perris isn't what it used to be, and is a lot better from the last time I was playing.

Why Do You Want to Become a Moderator?

I want to become a moderator, because my motivation within the community has been getting higher and higher and higher each week, and I wish I could contribute to the community by applying for Staff. After I was banned incorrectly, and I saw a unprofessional staff member that banned me and refused to look at my counter evidence, (I appealed it and it was accepted) I think if I joined the staff team, I could make a bigger change as them to the staff team. I am ready to emphasize my responsibility within the staff team, be patient, and fair and make a difference within this community. I would consider myself professional, friendly, and welcoming to new-coming people and put effort into

How Would You Handle Rule breaking?

If I would have to deal with a moderation scene, if for example the member I am dealing with is new, I would make sure that they understand every aspect of the violation they have committed, and I would treat them with respect and remain professional. I would punish them based off of their past violations, and briefly explain them the violations, how they can refrain from not repeating the offence, explaining the rules, advising how they can check all of the rules, and so on.

Explain how you would deal with first-time offenders, repeat offenders, and what punishments you would apply. Show you understand how to be fair, consistent, and firm.

If I had to deal with a first-time offender, lets say for example: They were reported for RDM:ing and SI (Random Death Match and Scene Interference), I would make sure that the reporter has evidence of the offence being committed. If I find the evidence valid, I would speak with the offender and explain to him why they are being reported. I would also first check their records and find out that they haven't had any past violations. I would then ask the offender questions like if they are aware of the rules, and if they needed help navigating within the website for the rules or anything else. After that, I would probably let them off with a warning (unless if there are any other procedures that say otherwise), and then dismiss them from the scene.

Now If I dealt with a repeat offender, I would do the exact same at the beginning. If I figured out that they have done the same violation that they were being reported for at the moment, I would probably give them a temporary ban, and explain to them why. Also I would tell them that repeating the same offence again can and will lead to a harsher punishment, and explain to them that they can appeal it on the website and or report me if they feel like the punishment was invalid.
