Have You Moderated Other Communities?
Yes, I have dedicated years to moderating communities. Acting as a community moderator within Malibu State Roleplay was one of my most valuable experiences within FiveM communities for 2 years because it started in 2022. While I was there, I got practical experience managing player conflicts and in-game regulation compliance. I also handled server-wide issues with fairness along with professionalism. We stressed structured roleplay as we enforced a strict code of conduct, which featured systems similar to Mountain Interactive's—detailed rulebooks, sit rooms, and escalation protocols.
Which Mountain Interactive Servers Do You Play Most?
Los Angeles, CA, is my primary area, also I have enjoyed it thoroughly. It strikes just a great balance between some action and realistic roleplay for me, which keeps myself quite immersed in it for longer periods of time. I joined the LAPD team just two months ago. The role exposed me to many scenarios of a wide range, especially in the enforcement of rules in the game. Perris consistently presents opportunities for dealing with rule breaking. I learned the way to approach RDM and the way to keep aligned with MI rules and hopes.
Why Do You Want to Become a Moderator?
I recently upgraded to Titanium Tier because of a want that I have to involve myself to a greater degree with Mountain Interactive and to support a community I genuinely enjoy as I am joining. I am at this time studying in order to be a police officer and actively going through the training. This has helped me develop key traits such as calm communication, fair decision making, and de-escalation skills that directly apply to being an effective and professional moderator.
Though I spent much time playing MI overall, I've also seen how unengaged moderators can hurt the gameplay experience. In the absence of any immediate response, the scenes sometimes get derailed or the players break the rules. I moderated serious FiveM roleplay servers like Malibu State Roleplay and this showed to me the importance of consistent responsive staff. I want to bring that support. That support helps this table to exist now.
I feel myself ready for taking on that responsibility with both my background from law enforcement training and FiveM moderation. I believe I can aid in keeping an equitable workplace. Furthermore, I will go on with the building of everything that makes Mountain Interactive so great.
Are You Familiar with Any Current Staff Members?
I have not yet, but I saw a lot of staff scene where staff had to deal with rulebreakers
When Are You Usually Available to Moderate?
I’m available Monday until Sunday, but time depends on my current training plan. They may provide to me long periods of free time. I am able to often dedicate full days for moderation. I still try to carve out some time in each evening to engage with the MI community, even when I am doing training all day. However, I am sure of one thing: I stay active and dedicated constantly, and I’d love to elaborate on my distinctive career.
How Would You Handle Rule breaking?
I would start by then removing both parties out from active roleplay just so as to avoid disrupting of the continuing scene should a player who is new to the community kill a police officer at some traffic stop. This is what would happen in the event they did not have any RP reason that was valid. I would give to the reporting player a chance for explaining of the situation, then let the person share his side of the story without any interrupting.
I would walk him all of the way through the proper way for him to handle hostile scenarios within roleplay if it becomes clear that he is unfamiliar with all of the rules especially around random acts that involve violence. In that case, I’d issue him a verbal warning, and I would also make sure that he understands all of the expectations and that any future incidents will carry much stricter consequences.
I’d review his past moderations and any proofs given, should he break the same rule again. I’d take the appropriate next step upon a pattern of rule breaking, such as a temporary 1 day ban. Repeated behavior could result in a permanent ban, possibly increasing disciplinary action. Within Mountain Interactive, the goal there is to be fair and educational when it is needed, but also protective of roleplay quality.
Anything Else We Should Know?
In order to further provide support for a game I truly do enjoy, I have been a Titanium member for a while now. I bring years of FiveM experience, I have real world crisis training, also I have a powerful sense of fairness. I’m here not just for moderation, but to experience positively what Mountain Interactive offers. This community's future direction has me excited. I want to play an active role within its growth.
