Have You Had an Application Denied in the Last 90 Days?
No.
Were you a previous Staff Member?
No.
Do You Have a Working Microphone?
Yes.
What Country Are You From?
USA.
Have You Moderated Other Communities?
Yes, the most notable being a moderator for the Robloxian Mountaineering Community at its peak. (Its the Everest game that used to be super popular)
Which Mountain Interactive Servers Do You Play Most?
I play LA. I can moderate perris as well of course, but LA is what I enjoy the most.
Why Do You Want to Become a Moderator?
I'm not gonna bs the application. I want to be a mod because video games have lost their magic and touch with me. LA is the one game I still play consistently and have fun doing so. I want to mod because FRP just isn't fun. People show up or the experience of RP, it needs to moderated and if not me, then who?
Are You Familiar with Any Current Staff Members?
Yes, StarredSaturn.
When Are You Usually Available to Moderate?
I am EST. I work 2-3 24 hour shifts a week and the rest of the week I would be available to moderate.
How Would You Handle Rule breaking?
First time offenders will receive a warning. I would document the warning and explain the rule/rules, so that ignorance is off the table if they choose to break the rules again. The second time is probably going to come down to a temp ban especially if it is the exact same rule they broke previously. Its fair, they were warned and educated. The third time is going to be me asking another moderator to sit in with me and review the evidence and work as a team to decide on the punishment. I'm a team player and moderation should be a team effort if possible. All of these punishments of course are selective to the rule breaking that was committed.
Anything Else We Should Know?
I'm a builder. I've spent a long time in this community and have been a long time supporter. I am US Army Veteran and a member of the Alabama Army National Guard. I have leadership experience. The truth is there is no other applicant for this position with the level of dedication or attention to detail or experience that I have and the effort that I willing to put forth into this community. Being a mod isn’t just about enforcing the rules. It’s about fairness and trust the community places in you to keep their experience fun and playable. There is a pride I take in helping players enhance their experiences. Being a mod also comes with getting to gain the trust of all players that you have their backs, while still maintaining the rules and fairness.
Do You Speak Any Languages Other Than English?
No. However, I am being deployed to Egypt for a year in August, which, yes I will have plenty if not the same amount of time I do at home to moderate and play. (4-5 days out of the week) The point of me bringing Egypt up is, I plan to learn Arabic, which could potentially come in handy for the community at some point.
