Have You Moderated Other Communities?

Yes, I was a moderator for 2 years on Mexican border simulator in G-mod, which we practiced similar moderation enforcement such as in game activity, sit rooms and knowledge of the game's codes and conducts. In my 2 years of moderation, I have learned how to properly and professionally handle staff situations, that allowed all parties involved to be heard and treated fairly. Unfortunately, this game has slowly become obsolete and MI moderation would provide me with the opportunity to continue doing what I enjoy.

Which Mountain Interactive Servers Do You Play Most?

I have been enjoying Perris a fair bit, I feel as if has the right amount of action mixed with roleplay to keep me engaged for long periods of time. I have been a LAPD officer for the last two months, and the difference in both servers, especially with player behavior, is very different. Perris has exposed me to more staff situations involving game rule enforcement. I have had the opportunity to learn the correct ways with dealing with situations such as RDM, and how to properly handle these scenarios within MI guidelines.

Why Do You Want to Become a Moderator?

I began playing Perris, CA in early February of 2025. I was working long hours on the road for work. Working 7 days a week 12-hour shifts, exhausted. I was in need of relief from day-to-day work, I was in search of a game on Roblox that offered law enforcement roleplay with a community I could collaborate with, that shared similar interest. I went through multiple different games and nothing caught my eye, until I joined a server in Perris California. Immediately upon joining I purchased the CHP game pass, without stepping foot from the civilian spawn. I have been in love with this community ever since, I officially joined in March. The little time I have spent here has been a fantastic experience. Meeting people who are excited to share their passion of law enforcement, while having fun and maintaining a professional environment is hard to find. Though this game has brought me much joy, there are times I have ran into situations out of my control. The lack of moderation in Perris has greatly affected the behavior of players within the game. Without immediate remediation of these behaviors, they continue to get more common. Moderation request flood the forum, putting more work on few people. The lack of in game moderation has driven me to take a step forward and fill this position. I live a busy life, but I have managed to apply myself to this game on a daily basis and engage with the community. After 2 years of previous moderation, I feel as if I would be an important asset to the MI community and can help maintain the fun and professional environment this game has to offer. I achieved my EMT certification in 2021 and worked on an ambulance for two years. I have dealt with situations between multiple parties that required professional remediation to prevent further incident. Working alongside law enforcement, I have learned to properly communicate in arguments, while maintaining control and authority to deescalate the situation. The MI community deserves a person who is driven by passion, with the desire to help and bring enjoyment back into the streets of Perris. As a diamond tier subscriber, I feel as if I have the motivation and knowledge to fill this position and continue keeping the wonderful game and community Mountain Interactive provides.

Are You Familiar with Any Current Staff Members?

Yes, I have recently met V1per_o, who did a great job of handing my complaint against another player. He handled it swiftly and in a professional manner.

When Are You Usually Available to Moderate?

I can moderated Monday through Sunday. Times during these days may range based on current life events. I travel out of state 6 months a year for work. During these 6 months, I am living in hotels. Often, we are sitting at the hotel waiting for our opportunity to do our designated job. My job is very niche, and I would love to explain in more detail. However, I may not work for 4-6 days in a row, providing countless hours to moderate within Mountain Interactive servers. I am contracted to work 7 days a week 12-hour shifts, my dedication to this game ensures that I can still provide a few hours after work each day to this game.

How Would You Handle Rule breaking?

To answer this question, we need a scenario. Pauly415 is a new player in the MI community and is unaware of the rules and regulations of roleplaying. This player happens to drive by a traffic stop unrelated to him and kills the police officer on scene. This officers files a moderation complaint in the game which would be quickly responded to by me. I would carefully choose when to being both players, making sure they are not actively involved in a roleplay scenario. Once both players are in a private area, we would discuss the circumstances of the situation. I would allow the officer who filed the complaint to make a statement first. Then, allow the player who is being reported to make an uninterrupted statement on the situation. Pauly415 states that it's his first time playing a roleplay game and was not aware of the random death match rule for roleplay scenario and apologizes for the action. I would do my due diligence to gather much information as possible. Along with video evidence and in game logs. After confidently confirming that Pauly415 broke a rule, I would considerately explain the rule and how an act of violence should be properly played out in a role play scenario. I would then issue a verbal warning to the player and allow them to continue their gameplay and warn him that further incidents would lead to further enforcement.

A few days later, I receive another complaint for RDM on pauly415. I check on his moderation logs and notices he has been given several warnings from other staff members for the same violation. I would perform the same actions with all parties involved and allow each of them to accurately describe the situation. Players involved have video evidence of Pauly415 failing to comply with role play rules and Mountain Interactive regulations. After multiple warnings, I would issue a 1 day banned on this player to prevent further incident. Upon the continuation of this player failing to comply with rules, longer/permanent ban would be instated to ensure he would no longer be a part of the community, and another player can continue enjoying their time in game.

Anything Else We Should Know?

I have been a titanium member for a few months and have loved every minute of it, so much that I went ahead and purchased diamond. I am excited for the future of this game and community and would love to be a part of the progression.
