My Ban Appeal

Appealing Discord ID (e.g., 709881578058285127): 498363826287149076

Ban Length: 4 Weeks
Moderating Staff Member: Ash

Ban Reason: 737839E4-B577-4B84-BE25-9718254DD22E.png
Why I Should Be Unbanned: Because others we’re calling me racist for saying “nigma”The word "nigma" is not a racist term. It is a variation of the word enigma and the ban from the chat was never explained even when I questioned to another staff member what was wrong with the word. Anything in the modern era involving the letter n then continues with an I and g is considered an infraction by warning, ban, kick. I have rights to speak on discord and obviously you can’t take that away unless you decide to do so without explanation in abuse. I’ve done research on the word “nigma” and it’s not even a real word until an e is at the beginning. Four week timeout for a word that isn’t real. I feel like you guys are assuming the word has something involving with race without actual evidence. I would like to follow up with a conversation from an HR if that’s alright.

Hello! @JasonDBSB,

Unfortunately due to your poor moderation history, and with the decision of the Chief Operating Officer @Captain_Man2014 , you’re not going to be un-banned as you’ve been banned several times and re-appealed and have clearly not learned, nor took time to read our rules and regulations of being a community member with Mountain Interactive. Thanks,

We encourage you to reflect on our community guidelines to ensure a positive experience in the future. If you have any further questions, please feel free to reach out.

Best regards,
The Volunteer Moderation Team
