Which Mountain Interactive Servers Do You Play Most?

I used to play LA a bit, but I have been playing perris consistently as I enjoy it more. However, I can be flexible to what server I play in if more staff is needed in LA.

Why Do You Want to Become a Moderator?

I want to become a moderator because I feel like I would have a positive impact on the community and fellow staff. I value integrity and respect as they are extremely important when being someone who would obtain a higher role then others. My values would assist with my Moderating because I can be trusted. I am motivated to join the Mountain Interactive Staff from seeing brilliant moderator's do the hard work for the community and hold the high standards that it has. Seeing this, it makes me want to be apart of the team to assist with moderation and help others. Joining the staff team would allow me to open so many more opportunities with gaining moderation experience in a realistic roleplaying community, meeting others, working with fellow staff and more. I feel like the staff wipe is my chance to show that I have what it takes to be a moderator despite no past experience. My mountain interactive history started when I first joined the game in march of 2024, with no interest of the game at the time I played only 2 hours and then had to take a break due to school. I then got back into it late last year in October and through to now. Over those months I have a total of 548 hours playtime which shows that I am active in the game along with the discord server. As someone who's been playing Perris/LA for that long as a Community Member I have recognized that there are so many more opportunities as a staff member, as I listed before.

Are You Familiar with Any Current Staff Members?

I may be known to Farmer_Dan54, I would list several others, however most of them are past staff members due to the staff wipe.

When Are You Usually Available to Moderate?

(AEST) Fri-Sun 6PM-1AM

How Would You Handle Rule breaking?

There can be many outcomes to finding a conclusion after someone breaks a rule. The main conclusions would be that it's someone's first time playing and aren't educated well enough to maintain the rules and guidelines or on the other hand, the offender is a repeat offender and disregards community and staff trust by constantly breaking rules and has a lengthy record.

Clean Record

  • With people who haven't played the game before or don't know of the rules or where to find then I would try my best to firstly, tell them that what they did is wrong and refrain from doing the same thing again otherwise moderation will be taken. I would then inform them that they can access the mountain interactive website for free and read the rules on there so they get a better understanding of what we stand for and what we don't stand for. I would finally ask them if they have any questions before I dismiss them. If the rule broken was a very minor violation, I would offer a verbal warning/void rather than logging it to their record as I like to give a second chance to people who I think deserve it. If it was a more serious violation with intent I would then log it to their record whether or not they have a clean record or not.

Bad Record

  • If I were to moderate someone who already has a lengthy record I would take it more seriously, and would refrain from offering a second chance as they already have had multiple chances to show that they will act accordingly, in which in this scenario they obviously haven't taken those chances for granted. If the violation was major I would then ban them for it, considering their disregard for community and staff trust along with the record.

With childish behaviour for example, GTA Driving that is annoying myself or others I would simply kick them to prevent anyone being VDM'ed or making their car go flying into the sky, as it usually happens in perris...

Anything Else We Should Know?

I would be proactive in game rather than reactive to prevent staff scenes from occurring or rules being violated. I am willing to help anyone with any chance that I get.

Do You Speak Any Languages Other Than English?

No.

Things That May Hurt Your Application
  • I think that naming one person who is familiar with me may not be enough. However, a lot of the past staff member's knew me from being active a lot.

  • I might have reduced activity as the school term commences but my playtime on weekends and holidays will rise as I would put a lot of effort in being a Moderator if I were to be accepted
