Why Do You Want to Become a Moderator?

I wanted to become a moderator because I’ve always been curious about what it’s like to moderate a game in this category. Sometimes, you see rule breakers and want to do something about it, but you don’t have a clip or feel helpless. I want to try helping a community I enjoy playing in and overall improve players’ experiences.

As for my traits and qualities, I’ve seen how ego can get in the way, some people let it take over and treat others poorly. My goal is to be kind. I ignore rude comments and insults. Even if I’m upset, I’ll still help someone if they need it, because it’s not fair to treat someone badly just because I’m in a bad mood. I also avoid being the center of attention. If I’m told to do something, I’ll do it. If I see others abusing their power, I’ll speak up and let them know it’s wrong and unfair. I don’t take things personally unless it’s truly something worth taking personally.

Are You Familiar with Any Current Staff Members?

No

When Are You Usually Available to Moderate?

EST 5:00 PM TO 1:00 AM WEEKDAYS

EST 5:00 PM TO 4:00 OR 5:00 AM WEEKENDS OR BREAKS FROM SCHOOL

How Would You Handle Rule breaking?

I would follow the SOP and take the appropriate action based on the situation. If I see someone I recognize who has been banned multiple times for RDM, I would follow the escalation steps, document the incident, and take note of their prior bans, especially if this new incident happened right after they were unbanned. If someone commits RDM for the first time, I would issue a warning. However, any incidents after that warning would result in a ban, depending on how many times they’ve repeated the offense. For repeat offenders, I would issue the maximum ban allowed under the SOP.

Anything Else We Should Know?

Small-scale ELS creation and livery design, either upon request or for personal use.

Do You Speak Any Languages Other Than English?

No
