Why Do You Want to Become a Moderator
I want to help both myself and the community I’m pretty active in LA and play a lot Since I saw that the staff team is being restructured I figured this would be a good time to try applying I’m self motivated which I know is rare
I applied as soon as I saw the new announcement I wasn’t able to apply before due to a few bans early on in my time playing Perris about 4 or 5 months ago but I’ve learned from those mistakes and moved on
I also want to gain more experience in moderation While I may be on the newer side I tend to adapt quickly I started with Mountain Interactive back in Victory Valley then took a break from Mountain Interactive When I came back Perris was the main game but I eventually switched to LA which I now mainly play though I still enjoy Perris too
Are You Familiar with Any Current Staff Members?
No, I was but not anymore due the restructuring
When Are You Usually Available to Moderate?
CET is my timezone In between daily I probably would say from 15:40 to 20:00 weekly probably 19/18 hours Sometimes less depending on how much work I have to do
How Would You Handle Rule breaking?
For first time offenders I would look at severity of their actions were Sometimes people make mistakes especially if they re new or don’t fully understand the rules If it’s not too serious I’d give them a warning and explain what they did wrong and how to avoid it in
For repeat offenders I would consider how many times theyve been warned or punished before If they clearly know the rules and keep breaking them I’d give a stricter punishment like a kick depending on how serve it is but even then I’d try to help them understand what they did wrong and how they can improve
