Why Do You Want to Become a Moderator?

Explain your motivation. This question should be a few paragraphs or more. You may include:

I am currently looking for a group to expand my Moderation skills to learn from higher ranks on how to moderate better from a more structured group. I want to help the Mountain Interactive (MI) by being active within both games and being a good person to talk to regarding questions from the community. I've only recently decided to apply after a couple of my friends used to work in this group before the release of LA they got me into the game first and I am still playing it till this day. I believe my experience from decently sized groups will be able to help with the succussion of my application into Mountain Interaction. I have had a clean history within MI with no moderation record I am semi active within the community server. (kind of hard due to my time zone). I believe in myself that I would be a great fit for the moderation team with my amazing community engagement and my overall approachable behavior.

Are You Familiar with Any Current Staff Members?

When Are You Usually Available to Moderate?

AEST/AEDT. Available around afternoons and early mornings.

How Would You Handle Rule breaking?

First offenders,
I believe with first offenders it is not a huge deal depending on the rule they have broken. I would always explain to them about the rule they have broken and what the normal punishment of breaking the rule.
I would either
- Verbal Warning
- Ensure they are in the communications server to ask more regarding rules. Where they can also find the website to the server guidelines.
- Other punishments depending on the rule.

Repeat offenders,
With repeat offenders I would be harsher with the outcome of the situation due to them constant repeating breaking the rules. I would still explain to them that now they are getting more warnings they might get a temp ban depending on the rule.
I would either
- Warning
- Temp Ban
Depending on the rule

People would massive moderation histories would face harsher punishments due to them knowing that the rules are in place and they don't care about them!
