Have You Moderated Other Communities?
Yes I’ve been a part of several different communities especially upon Roblox. I was lead moderation which has now been renamed to be “Ban Perms” for the Roblox community/group “[BA] - British Army.” within the community I dealt with overseeing and supervising any moderation action done. I was a member of the internal affairs department of the moderation team. My duties were to investigate any wrong doing of the moderation team and give a reasonable moderation action to the moderation members violating the rules of the game, or abusing commands.
I’ve also been a part of the moderation team to the community/group “Frizzed” in Roblox. I'm an “Executive Lead” for the Frizzed team. My duties upon the community are to oversee anyone under my command and help out with moderating the game(s) and Discord. I'm one of the few members to deal and help with any community members' appeals for the moderation action which was given following their actions.
Which Mountain Interactive Servers Do You Play Most?
List the servers you actively play and which ones you want to moderate. The more familiar you are with server-specific rules, the stronger your application.
I do play Los Angeles as much as I can. I’m familiar with the current people of the Los Angeles Community. I’m familiar with the current set of rules, and the basic information of the game. But I’m willing to moderate Perris as-well when it is heavily needed. I’m not the most familiar with the current set of rules over at Perris as I do not play it as much. I’m willing to get myself familiar with the rules though to continue to moderate all of the servers at Mountain Interactive.
Why Do You Want to Become a Moderator?
I want to rejoin the Mountain Interactive Staff team to align both my activity within the both the games, Los Angeles, and Perris California to make an impact on what goes on within both of the games. Im very active within the game averaging around 4 - 9 Hours daily on the weekended I average around 6 - 9. (Please note that those hours are not going to be the same for each week but will stay at a steady paste near those amount of hours.) My constant activity, with my former and current knowledge of the moderation aspect can sufficiently show an impact upon the games, and also throughout the discord. I do believe I have what it takes to continue pursuing moderation, with some of my key traits being active, friendly, and motivating. I enjoy spending time within a community I truly love to be a part of. To proceed onwards I believe myself to be a very good person especially with formality, respect, and professionalism. I’m simply by the book when moderating someone not giving them an unfair choice that isn’t listed. I will always be free to show my dedication, motivation, and leadership upon all people, who are willing to become a community member within Mountain Interactive. My former skills from working moderation on games has served a major impact on teaching me my ways throughout the whole process of becoming a member of a moderation team. I’ve learned how to cope with stress, when situations get stressful or out of hand, how to properly pick the right charge, or punishment to go proceed with someone and how to become an individual who is motivating, and uplifting throughout the processes of more annoying or irritating scenes. I’ve also wanted to show my further dedication for the community, and proceed with moderation actions against people who may do moderation actions to keep the members within act and letting them have notice to re-read the rules to refresh their memory on what we do count as violating rules.
Are You Familiar with Any Current Staff Members?
No. But I’m familiar with some of whom have been picked to stay such as Firefighter_andrew, o_hhx, saintsilder, rocky, and mountainbikernerd, and nike But as of the current Situation going on with the Staff Team I do not know any members of whom are currently on the staff team other then a slight knowledge of knowing mystic but more within role-play wise . Within the members from the support team / corporate team I'm familiar with yiburzio (Davontae) oitz_Division.
When Are You Usually Available to Moderate?
Pacific Standard Time 3pm-12am Weekends 2pm-3am
How Would You Handle Rule breaking?
Warnings, and kicks would always be the first step, and level to Use of Moderation of which is handed out. A slightly more major offense such as a stacked moderation charge such as FRP, and RDM will tend to skip that stage of a warning. Depending upon the clips of which is provided I may take a charge due to the fact that their moderation history is important to cases within the future and it isn’t a goal of any sort to mess up the future or thoughts of Mountain Interactive. Permanent bans would only be a given moderation offense to severe Community Guidelines being broken such as Glitching, Exploiting, and all related charges of which coordinate with the severity. If a player commits a repeated event of FRP, and RDM and they have broken those Community Guidelines once again a slightly harsher punishment will be handed out, such as a kick if they are being given a smaller single charge. If the user decides to commit the same offense after 1-3 times of being warned and or kicked they shall be given a ban depending on the severity. RDM would be a case of where I would give up to 1-2 kicks before moving up onto a level of where a ban should be handed out.
Anything Else We Should Know?
Something which may be helpful is, my long-term goals are to achieve to be a person who can get along with all, and show the balance between support, and motivation to uplift people who need help. Such as the people who need it the most, the people who are constantly stuck within a brain-loop but always falling down due to them not feeling loved, nor supported from. Mountain Interactive aligns with my goals due to the large amount of community members to help bring up when they are feeling low, but allowing them to feel comfortable and supported throughout the way of them getting better by providing a free space, where there minds go clear, and where they can enjoy the fun, with laughter, and smiles upon faces.
I’ve spent a bit more than a year within the community of Mountain Interactive getting to know people, and playing the games of which Mountain Interactive supports. Within that time I’ve witnessed several major changes throughout the community, and I’ve seen what helps the community get along, and socialize with each other. The socializing fact if people react differently depending upon your response, and how you are willing to support and enhance a community from any stance.
