Have You Been Punished in the Last 60 Days?

No, I have not been punished within the last 60 days, however, previously I held the blacklisted rank, which got removed with time and growth within the community [please note this blacklist was given over 60 days ago & my record has been cleared]. My blacklist was placed after I unjailed myself because I violated peace time. Not only was this immature, but it also hurt the MI community. Within the last 8 months I have grown, however. I have refocused my vision, and reflected on what I could have done better. Next time, I will take responsibility for violating such rules and receive the consequences. My growth is displayed within the community, having multiple solutions within the forums, which shows my loyalty and trust I have within the community, furthermore, I have involved myself in the roleplay, and have grown into medium ranks within the law enforcement teams in LA & Perris. Continuing, I have multiple reports against users, which shows my commitment to the community & upholding the guidelines within Mountain Interactive.

Have You Had an Application Denied in the Last 90 Days?

No.

Were you a previous Staff Member?

Yes, I have been a previous staff member.

Do You Have a Working Microphone?

Yes.

What Country Are You From?

United States.

Have You Moderated Other Communities?

Yes, I have helped participate and lead other major communities regarding the moderation team, this includes Senior Administrator within Sandy Shores, I led moderation within California State Roleplay, I have been a part of Kansas State Roleplay, as a staff manager, Texas State Roleplay as a moderator, DOJ:RP as a senior moderator, and Mountain Interactive.

Which Mountain Interactive Servers Do You Play Most?

I play Los Angeles Roleplay the most, however, I also play Perris. However, I have no preferred servers - I am flexible!

Why Do You Want to Become a Moderator?

I want to become a moderator for Mountain Interactive because I want to continue my commitment within Mountain Interactive community. Over these 8 months I have continued to engage and help the community by answering their questions and directing them to all the necessary resources - I want to continue to do this, with moderation. Furthermore, I believe I can be a valuable asset - I have been around with the Mountain Interactive community for multiple years (before the website and LA game, when it was a whitelisted community), which shows my experience. Furthermore, I have been a long-term donator with Mountain Interactive, showing my dedication to the corporation! My previous experience (as stated above), shows that I have knowledge of how moderation works, the commands, the team, and overall, I have moderation skills including teamwork, knowledge of commands, dedication, and respect which I can apply to Mountain Interactive's moderation team. I highly enjoy helping others, which makes me stand out from other applicants, as I am motivated to create a better & more welcoming environment for all the users. I am also a trusted user, having good standing relations with most staff members, and the community! I am an active player, who has knowledge of the rules, and has quick response times, which makes me a good candidate for the moderation position at Mountain Integrative.

Are You Familiar with Any Current Staff Members?

Yes, vixiusz (Austin).

When Are You Usually Available to Moderate?

Pacific Standard Time (PST).

How Would You Handle Rule breaking?

I deal with 1st time offenders by giving them all the necessary resources to decrease the chances of another moderation offense. I use the 1st offense as a way to educate the player, rather than going straight to the consequence. However, this changes with repeat offenders - when dealing with repeat offenders, I am firmer, as they were given chances to change their behavior, where, unfortunately, moderation usually takes place, as they have not learned from their previous actions. Furthermore, I always allow room for discussion, as getting both sides, and hearing the player out, is important when it comes to moderation, as that allows for fair consequences to occur. If I am ever unsure about what to do or the rule break wasn't clear, I would immediately get help/feedback from my fellow moderations, as that continues to allow for moderation to be fair.

Anything Else We Should Know?
  • I have been with Mountain Interactive for several years

  • Despite my previous moderation record, I have changed, and I have shown my dedication and commitment to supporting Mountain Interactive and its player base over the course of the 8 months.

  • I have good relations with most of the Mountain Interactive staff team, which shows my maturity, growth, and trustworthiness.

Do You Speak Any Languages Other Than English?
