Why Do You Want to Become a Moderator?

Explain your motivation. This question should be a few paragraphs or more. You may include:

I decided to apply for staff because I have noticed a lack of staff available during the times I am most active on the server. Often, there are situations where players are left dealing with rulebreakers or disruptive behavior without support, and I want to help fill that gap. I believe I would be a strong fit for the moderator team due to my previous experience in similar roles. I was an admin for a FiveM server for over a year, so I have a good understanding of what is involved in staffing, including dealing with player reports, handling situations calmly and fairly, it can be frustrating to see other players’ experiences ruined by those who are only here to cause issues or abuse jobs and would like to be a force that stops that.

How Would You Handle Rule breaking?

For first time offenders I would start but making sure I have all the facts and evidence, if it’s clear that it was a genuine mistake or misunderstanding, I would look at giving the player a verbal warning and explaining what rule they broke, making sure they understand what happened, what they did wrong and how to improve. it’s good to education players before going in hard with rules unless it’s a big rule break

For repeat offenders or players who should know the rules but continue to break them. I would take a firmer approach depending on the severity of the behaviour, I could issue kicks or bans if necessary, depending on what policies say making sure everything and everyone is held to the same standard

When applying punishments, I would always match the action to the severity of the offense. Minor issues would be handled with warnings or kicks, while more serious rule breaks like exploiting, harassment, or intentional disruption would lead to bans.
