Is there a rule saying that unmarked or unbranded cruisers are still department specific. For example as CHP could i drive an unmarked grey charger that has RPD sirens. Or as another example could i drive an unmarked tahoe with SRU sirens (i know it might be a no on the latter but i still wanted to include it)

In whitelisted departments such as RPD, you have to be correct role to use unmarked / undercover vehicles, however CHP or SRU is not whitelisted so you may use any car you want, this can be motorbikes etc.

You can drive RPD cars as SRU since they are an RPD unit
