What game did the ban take place in?: Perris, California.
Why should you be unbanned?: Misunderstanding / Other Extenuating Circumstances. In the clip provided in the reason for my ban (now deleted by the reporting user), the helicopter they are flying hovers directly over my house in game. The moderator talking to me during my sit even mentioned he believed me on this.
I was actively running from police at the time (within roleplay), and had even seen a unit chasing me attempt to or call out to the air unit. Due to this, I had good reason to believe the air unit was actively searching for me or targeting my position. Because of this, I did shoot at and did kill the pilot of said air unit.
The reporting user in question says that he was not there for me, but for a BOA call, and happened to be directly above my house. During my sit, I was told that even with my reasoning, because that air unit wasn't actively looking for me it counted as RDM. I asked many questions and brought up points which weren't answered in full or at all. Due to a previous warning I received, I was not able to receive another one. I am requesting a ban appeal or at least some clarification what point would I be allowed to fire at air units.
(I.e.) Does the air unit have to have their light on me for me to count that as enough reason to fire at them? If I was actively being felony stopped would that change the situation? How close does the air unit have to be to me for I to have reasonable assumption that I am being targeted by that air unit?
I make this appeal in good faith because I did not know that there was a BOA call, and to my knowledge I can assume that if there wasn't, that air unit likely would've been specifically on me, giving me reason to fire at it. But because there was, I have received a ban. Any clarification helps, thank you.
