Description Of the Incident:
I was flagged down by someone in LA because two people were involved in a gunfight. When I got to the scene, one person was dead and the other was unconscious and close to dying. I immediately gave him medical help and detained him for safety reasons, since firearms were involved. Once he woke up, I put him in my car and read him his miranda rights before asking him what happened. He told me that he was at the Acro gas station filling up his car when another person pulled a gun on him, which led to a gunfight. I asked the person who flagged me down and a few bystanders, and they confirmed the same story. I searched the suspect and found a Glock RMR (a LEO gun) and a Glock 17 Switch. He said, “I don’t consent to a search,” but I went ahead anyways and searched him because I had probable cause. He was involved with a death, which is a serious matter. I ran a background check and found out he didn’t have a firearms permit. Given that he had the Glock 17 Switch (Illegal in the state of California) and Glock RMR (without a firearms permit,) I told him he was under arrest. He started complaining, saying the search was illegal, that I was abusing my power, and that he’d report me to the staff. I ignored him because I knew I was acting professionally and doing my job. I proceeded with booking him. There was a glitch that prevented him from moving properly, where your character gets stuck facing one direction. The only way to fix this was by tackling him. So, I tackled him and left, thinking nothing of it. Later, he pinged saying “nice FRP + AOT + TA,” and I replied, “You're incarcerated for a reason.” He then reported me to staff, and I got banned for 2 days for FRP and TA by ‘TheArsenalLegend728.’ The staff member didn’t want to hear my side of the story. I tried to explain why I tackled him by showing my screenshare that clearly showed he was glitched, but he just replied, “Yeah no thanks. I ain’t answering a randoms call.” This was frustrating, especially since at the start he said "yeah bud you have quite the history of frp.” Yes, I have a past history of breaking rules, but I’ve changed. Just because I’ve made mistakes in the past doesn’t mean I should be disrespected for it. Additionally, the person who reported me called me multiple names, including "stupid ass cop" and "jit."
