Additional Questions

  1. Why do you want to join the Mountain Interactive Staff Team?
I want to join the Mountain Interactive staff team because I feel like I would be a good staff member. For starters, I have a lot of experience. I am strict and professional. I feel like that I could be successful within the Mountain Interactive Team. I am also nice to a certain degree. I also want to join the staff team so we can get rid of those RDM’ers and trollers. I know how annoying that can get. I am also VERY active. I am available most of the day (except school hours of course). I have also moderated a similar game like this except it is a border RP. The final reason I would like to join the staff team is because I would like to be more social with people. I am very social and nice (as stated earlier) and I feel like I could become friends with some staff members.

  2. What skills or qualities do you have that would make you a valuable member of the staff team?
A quality I have that would make me a valuable member is that I am nice and friendly. I am also very welcoming and surprisingly active even with school. I am also strict but not too harsh, and forgiving (not to a point where I’m soft). I am also VERY patient with general members of the public, meaning I have what it takes to become a moderator for Mountain Interactive.

  3. Have you been involved in any other communities or teams? If so, please list them and describe your role:
Yes I have. I have been involved in Laredo, Border RP by CharlieStudios which I was an Administrator for. The second community is BaconBest’s Projects. I was also a Administrator for. The final community I was involved with was Boneless County RP as a Trial Moderator.

  4. How would you handle a conflict between two community members?
The first step I would take is to get in between them and ask what the problem is. Once they say what the problem is, I would tell them my advice and to tell them to stop arguing. If they continue to, I would tell them to take it to their DM’s. If they STILL do it in general, that is when I would mute both of them for failure to listen to a moderator. Then I take photos of them refusing to listen to me and if they report me I will send the evidence.

  5. Describe a time you had to solve a difficult problem in a leadership or team role:
    N/A .

  6. How do you prioritize tasks when managing multiple responsibilities?
I take the thing that needs the most attention and sort them by which one needs lesser and less.

  7. What do you think is the most important value for a Mountain Interactive Staff member to uphold, and why?
The most important value for a MI Staff Member is to always be strict no matter what as this game is a hyper realistic game and should be heavily moderated.

  8. How would you support and encourage new members of the community?
First, I would welcome them and encourage them to talk to other people and ask questions. I would then tell them that they are welcome to MI as everyone is. I would help them by

  9. What are your long-term goals, and how does being part of Mountain Interactive align with them?
Some of my long term goals is to build more trust and encouragement with talking to new people. I also plan to get HR+ in MI.

  10. Are there any areas within the community you feel need improvement? If so, what ideas do you have to address them?
I feel like RDM needs to be a higher punishment like a kick so nobody just randomly pulls up on you with a Knights Arnament LAMG and blasts you until you bleed because that is super annoying. Other than that, everything is fine!

MI Games are realistic to a certain extent but they are also made for fun as this is a game, remember this!

NOTE: I forgot to add DOJRP Sandy Shores on my experience. (I quit after 2 weeks due to the fact that there was corruption within the high ranks of Sandy Shores.)

Some of your answers suggest that you might take the role a little too seriously. It’s important to keep in mind, people tend to play games online as a way of letting off steam and a hyper-realistic “strict” mindset will only get you enemies in the community.

Wont put anything but a little reminder. We try and make sure everyone has a good time even if it means spawning in a car for someone that accidently crashing not during a RP scene. It’s the little things that go a long way to help out the community nice and respectfully.
