Additional Questions

Q: Why do you want to join the Mountain Interactive Staff Team?

A: I want to join the Mountain Interactive Staff Team for a few reasons. I first discovered Mountain Interactive back in January of 2022 and I have always been playing ever since and to be honest, Mountain Interactive has quickly became one of my most favorite community to be apart of, from starting out in Victory Valley and racking up nearly 200+ hours in gameplay within just 2 months, I realized Mountain Interactive meant a lot to me from the day I joined with all the people I have met along the way. Mountain Interactive has definitely been one of the few best communities out there on Roblox, everyone here is super fun to play with and be around, I have met some cool developers even if it wasn't recent and I know some cool staff members here too. I genuinely enjoy playing games at Mountain Interactive and getting to be apart of such an awesome community. I want to be apart of Staff as I want to elevate my experience here more then just being a community member and I want to be able to help provide the same quality roleplay & community experience I was met with when I first joined this community back in January of 2022, and I wanna strive to provide excellent moderation to make sure others get the same experience as I did. I also want to join Staff as I have a lot of friends that are Moderators and I'd genuinely would love to work alongside them! My final reason I want to join is due to the amount of moderation the game(s) here require, some situations can be stressful and other people who apply may or may not be able to handle those situations but I can and I really enjoy helping people, I am also really patient and will walk people step through step with any problems they have. I hope to work with the amazing team here at Mountain Interactive.

Q: What skills or qualities do you have that would make you a valuable member of the staff team?

A:  I have a few skills and qualities. To begin with, I have always been pretty interested in staffing related stuff, so I first started when I was around 13 and I have always been open to being within management & staffing positions within most communities I join, not for the rank or power but, because I love helping people and being able to gain more experience from getting those positions as staff or management in a specific community as every community has something new for you to learn and experience. I am a pretty active person which means I can contribute more hours to moderation here at Mountain Interactive if I become Staff and provide a better roleplay & quality experience for all members. I'm a pretty patient and helpful person meaning I do not mind sitting there and helping someone with something step by step no matter how long it takes. I can also defuse high pressure & tense situations and prove a better outcome for all involved. I have a lot of qualities that I myself don't even know that I discover from time to time and I don't wanna sit here and keep talking more and more just to sound repetitive so this is enough for now.

Q: Have you been involved in any other communities or teams? If so, please list them and describe your role:

A: Yes I have been involved in other communities and teams. California Roleplay on FiveM which has about 100,000+ members, I was a Senior Staff team member in charge of banning people for lower ranked staff, helping lower ranked staff with any questions and concerns they may have and much more, basically a staff supervisor. I have also worked for a lot of Roblox communities as Staff but to be fair, I forgot a lot of them cause I don't keep track often, but I have worked as tons of FiveM & Roblox servers for Staff and management. I was HR at a Roblox Greenville Roleplay server with 20,000+ members as Staff Relations (Staff Manager). I have achieved a lot of stuff being staff in different communities, but the one thing I get to achieve in every community is gaining more knowledge and aspect on different ways to staff and defusing situations, along with gaining more experience as staff.

Q: How would you handle a conflict between two community members?

A: I would first try to grasp and understand the situation in an attempt to understand what went wrong and how to help defuse the situation. I would tell the community members to sort it out in their DM's so nobody else within the community has to listen to their drama. I will help decide who is in the right or wrong if I can although, it is always best to never pick sides in most situations as it can aggravate the other side/person. If the members continue, moderation action(s) will ensue following the drama and arguing as they verbally warned by myself to stop.

Q: Describe a time you had to solve a difficult problem in a leadership or team role:

A: Right so, there was this one time in California Roleplay where I had a difficult time in a Staff Situation. I had banned someone for 7 days per policy and I was told by one of my higher up's that it was an invalid ban due to lag, although the person was not lagging at all and it was pretty clear because on FiveM you can tell when people lag/desync if you have ever played, if not then you won't know but continuing on, I was afraid I was gonna get terminated from my staff position (resigned later on due to personal issues in real life but irrelevant) and I didn't want to get terminated so, I had to screen share my clip and provide evidence to multiple different higher ups to prove that it wasn't a false ban and in the end, I was cleared to be in the right but that goes to show, people you ban or take actions against as staff will always try to retaliate and you have to be ready and able to fight back and control yourself when this happens. Pretty stressful situation only cause I had to speak to multiple HR's and it lasted about an hour.

Q: How do you prioritize tasks when managing multiple responsibilities?

A: I prioritize my tasks based off the severity of them and what I mean by severity is if it's super important and it's something that is urgent and determines something like let's say, money or something then, I will get that task done first, if it is something on the lower level of tasks such as like writing a paper or something for school then that will be completed and if it's something for a video game that I feel like doing or playing, then that would be completely last. So to sum it up, my tasks are based off how important and urgent they are and they also depend on my time but, I am very good at managing multiple responsibilities at once for staff related stuff due to having multiple monitors.

Q: What do you think is the most important value for a Mountain Interactive Staff member to uphold, and why?

A: The best value for a Mountain Interactive Staff member to uphold is most definably good conduct. Good conduct plays a huge part in everything as good conduct is good to have and conduct really represents how professional you are, how good you are at conducting your job, upholding policies when enforcing the rules and doing your job and so much more. Good conduct has got to be the top standard and/or value for a staff member to uphold anywhere, even in real life.

Q: How would you support and encourage new members of the community?

A: To be honest, I would support and encourage new members by helping them out with absolutely anything they needed. What I mean by helping out, is letting them know where to locate the rules, maybe the prices of subscriptions and how they can gain more perks by subscribing/donating and how the moderation system works. I will also help them with finding out information about the community and explaining how great the community is and how much fun it is to be apart of, based off my experience and what everyone else says great about it, therefore this encourages them to stay.

Q: What are your long-term goals, and how does being part of Mountain Interactive align with them?

A: To be honest I really don't have any long term goals at Mountain Interactive. Maybe in the future I can foresee myself being an Administrator or an Management/Corporate member but that really isn't my goal. My long term goal is to just help encourage people to be apart of this amazing community and help to provide a better quality experience for all that are new members and all current members.

Q: Are there any areas within the community you feel need improvement? If so, what ideas do you have to address them?

A: In my honest opinion, no there is no areas that need to be worked on in the community. Everything seems really operational to me and I have no concern regarding the current status of the community. I could be wrong but from my experience here, Mountain Interactive has always been good besides some staff members that eventually have gone rogue and abused their powers but besides that everything else is good.
