Additional Questions

  1. Why do you want to join the Mountain Interactive Staff Team?
I would like to join the Mountain Interactive Staff Team mainly because I’m very skilled at communication with players and I am able to sort out incidents quickly and swiftly.

I would be a valuable asset mainly because I’m experienced in the Moderation Field as well, also I am very independent in what I do and I like to get things done as well.

I also would like to join the Mountain Interactive team to meet new friends during my time as a Moderator, as well as gaining respect from the people I help with during !help calls!

Finally, I’d like to join to be able to help people as that is what I am good at doing, my communication skills come into effect with that [Previously mentioned]

What skills or qualities do you have that would make you a valuable member of the staff team?

  2. - I have really good Customer Service skills and I am able to talk to people in a Calm and Respectful manner at all times.

  3. - I am really independent so I don’t ask for help as often as I should.

  4. - With my Independence skills I am able to make a swift decision at help calls.

  5. - I’m a fantastic Team Player and I’m willing to help any staff member who has any issues as well.

Have you been involved in any other communities or teams? If so, please list them and describe your role:

I have around 4 years experience in Involvement in other communities.

Senior Moderator : Overseeing and Guiding Moderators and Junior Moderators
Administrator : Maintaining order within the Community.
Events Manager : Managing Events and Maintaining the Events Team.

  6. How would you handle a conflict between two community members?
I would tell them to Calm Down first and let one person speak at a time, if that does not work. I will then separate them and let them explain their side while remaining Separate.

  7. Describe a time you had to solve a difficult problem in a leadership or team role:
I had to personally sort out who was going rogue within the Moderation Team and nobody was owning up to it.

I also had to deal with a 55 player server with just me in it with many help calls about RDM and VDM.

  8. How do you prioritize tasks when managing multiple responsibilities?
I would ask other Staff Members to assist me in managing the responsibilities as I’m one person. If it is like a raid, I would try to prioritize that task into solving who it is and how to reduce it instead of dealing with In-Game issues.

What do you think is the most important value for a Mountain Interactive Staff member to uphold, and why?
I believe the most important value is respect and professionalism mainly because Staff Members are representing the Community and it doesn’t give us a good look seeing staff arguing with players over who rammed who in the Server.

I also believe that staff should maintain neutral in situations and to be unbiased with people who are their friends

How would you support and encourage new members of the community?
If it is about an in-game issue, I’d PM them telling them how to do things in-game if they don’t have Discord. If they do have Discord, I would tell them to DM me with their issues I’d then provide my Discord to them as well.

If they have a question in the server chat, I’d obviously answer the question with much detail as I can.

  9. What are your long-term goals, and how does being part of Mountain Interactive align with them?
My long term goals are :

    • To climb up the ranks as fast as I can to show my qualities as a leader.

    • To gain the respect of the players

    • To make new friends

    • To be able to help people with whatever they need help with

Are there any areas within the community you feel need improvement? If so, what ideas do you have to address them?

More staff being online and to be able to respond to calls without members complaining about that there’s no staff and there’s so many issues ingame [Like RDMers, VDMers, Rogue Officers]
