What Happened?
After a month and a bit over a week, I'm gonna try appealing again. Mountain Interactive rebranding to React Studios kind of pushed me to give it another shot. My ban was basically over banter with my friend- literally one word that led to a permanent ban, which is crazy and ridiculous at the same time. David made an announcement about jokes like that, so I get why it happened, even if my appeal was rejected pretty fast. What's still weird is that months before this, a developer was joking around using the name Ben Dover as "SBI director," and nothing happened to them. But whatever. It's been 1 month and 9 days now, and I got permabanned over a single word. I've been part of Interactive for years (even before I had a forums account), so getting hit with a permaban for a joke aimed at a friend feels pretty harsh. I admit I shouldn't have said it, but it wasn't malicious. Really hoping I can get back on Ventura since I only play when I have free time, and it'd be nice to have some entertainment again.

Why Should You Be Unbanned?
Like I said earlier, and I'll say it again here, I believe I deserve to be unbanned because nothing I did was malicious or hurt the community in any way. I can have my friend back me up since he was the one I joked with. I was having a good time on the server before the ban, but when the appeal was rejected, I took a break. Now I'm giving the appeal another try. Yes, I agree I messed up. I understand what I did wrong, and I honestly didn't remember that those jokes were strictly forbidden, but I get it now.

Hopefully whoever's gonna handle the appeal will read the whole appeal and not just half of it. I tried to keep it as short as I could :)

We don't allow people who ERP in our games it's a strict and not appealable rule Sorry your only hope is if a mass unban happens.
