At the start of the video, I had just been processed and was supposed to be taken down into the jail. At 00:07, the deputy behind the glass tells the officer, “holding cell when you are done,” which isn’t proper roleplay. Once someone is processed, they should go directly into the jail, not back to the intake holding area. I’m not blaming pwrl161 for following the deputy, but it wasn’t normal procedure and it didn’t move the roleplay forward. I had already been detained for a long time, and putting me back in a holding cell only stalled the interaction, which counts as excessive detainment and fail RP. The main problem happens at 00:50. While I’m cuffed, defenseless, and being dragged into the holding cell, the officer suddenly pulls out pepper spray and starts spraying me, even though I’m fully restrained and not resisting. At 00:53, they let go of me but keep spraying as I fall to the ground and stay completely still. I can’t defend myself or fight back, and I’m not a threat. Using pepper spray in that situation escalates the situation instead of de-escalating it, and the force used was not proportional to the threat since I was handcuffed and doing nothing combative. This makes no sense in roleplay and violates proportional response, escalation control, and fail RP. After being pepper sprayed, no one asked if I needed medical attention or offered to check on me, which shows no intent to roleplay. My player's safety wasn’t considered, and the interaction became unrealistic and unsafe because of it.
