7. Detailed Description of Events*

Quote

On November 12th, 2025, around 3:45 AM EST, I was on patrol as Venture Highway Patrol (VHP) Chief Callsign H03 traveling along Florence Boulevard. I was going approximately 8–10 mph over the speed limit while attempting to catch up to a driver I observed from a distance who appeared to be speeding and driving recklessly. As I continued, I lost visual contact with the vehicle and decided to disengage, returning to normal patrol speed.

During this time, a VHP Assistant Chief who had pulled over their own car, exited their vehicle, equipped a LiDAR gun, and specifically targeted my cruiser. They clocked me at 48 mph in a 40 mph zone and proceeded to initiate a traffic stop on me. I was unaware of the stop at first and continued driving. After proceeding through the Florence Boulevard intersection, I unexpectedly collided with a Florence City Police Department (FCPD) cruiser.

The collision was unusual, as the provided video evidence clearly shows my vehicle clearing the intersection legally under a green light, while the FCPD cruiser sped through a red light at approximately 80–100 mph without clearing the intersection. Despite this, the collision occurred, likely due to desync. On my screen, I had already passed through the intersection before the impact which also shows the same on the Assistant Chiefs clip from the side too. The FCPD unit appeared to have been launched really far for me on my screen and after the collision I looked around briefly and did not see it however in the clip you can see it in the parking lot to the left which I simply missed or I would of pulled over as anyone would to check on the officer. Believing the officer’s vehicle was no longer at the scene due to either being under the map or flung far away, I briefly drove forward and then activated my emergency lights to cross lanes safely when no traffic was coming before backing into a nearby area used commonly for traffic enforcement.

At this point, the VHP Assistant Chief blocked me in and initiated the stop at which point I was aware that she was stopping me, claiming I was being stopped for “speeding eight over and failing to yield to a emergency vehicle.” I explained that I did not hear or see the FCPD cruiser’s sirens until I had already entered the intersection and that I had the green light. The FCPD officer, on the other hand, had a red light and failed to clear the intersection, resulting in the impact. Despite this, I was later charged with 428 – Failure to Yield to an Emergency Vehicle.

In addition, I was charged with 521 – Abuse of Authority / Unlawful Arrest. The “unlawful arrest” portion was clearly not relevant to the situation. The “abuse of authority” claim stemmed from me ordering the Assistant Chief to return to duty after she initiated the stop, which is within my authority as Chief. Regardless I could only provide my identification to the State Bureau of Investigation (SBI) or VHP Deputy Commissioner as they are my Superiors and due to game mechanics she can't request mine anyways to cite me even if she wanted to and planned too since she clocked me on LiDAR. When SBI arrived, they claimed I should have yielded which can be argued but was not the primary reason at all for the crash as the FCPD Officer failed to clear the intersection and I had already gotten out of it when the crash occurred. I also explained that I was unaware she could stop me as I was informed early on only SBI could stop other officers while supervisors were meant to deal with more serious violations internally.

Both the VHP Deputy Commissioner and VHP Commissioner later arrived at the scene. After reviewing the situation and available footage, the Deputy Commissioner proceeded with charges for 428 and 521, despite my explanation. I reiterated that I only sped to catch up to a speeding vehicle and did so with do regard to public safety and had lost eyes and went back to driving the speed limit before the Florence Boulevard Intersection Incident occurred and that it was due to me attempting to catch up to a possible speeding driver and that the collision was the fault of the FCPD officer who failed to clear the intersection through the red light.

My intent with this report is primarily to request the removal of the record (Case Serial #2025-62937535) for both the misdemeanor and felony charges (428 and 521) from my record, as they were unjustified. I also am formally filing misconduct charges against primarily the arresting officer as I do question the validity of the arresting officer’s decision-making and the Assistant Chief’s initiation of the stop. Furthermore, since the Assistant Chief did not have the authority to request identification from a superior officer not because she can't because because game mechanics don't allow it the stop required either the Deputy Commissioner+ or SBI anyways for an 8 MPH Over Violation. The Assistant Chief also appears to ignore their superiors orders among other things.

Unfortunately, I do not have the names of the VHP Commissioner or the SBI Special Agent in Charge who responded to the scene as well.

Overall, I had no intention of purposely committing a hit and run as that's a felony and just a crap thing to do especially as on duty LEO. I did not fail to yield as I already exited the intersection prior to the FCPD Officer entering it without clearing it and appearing to turn into me causing the collision. And I had no intention of causing a problem with the Assistant Chief. I wasn't aware she was pulling over me who was another on duty LEO for speeding when it was within my duties and under legal protection as I was catching up to a speeding driver I thought I saw that either turned off, left the game, or I'm seeing ghost and need meds for that one. Either way a traffic violation which she couldn't even issue herself and I was protected legally from turned into this somehow and those false charges.

This situation is reminiscent of the Florida incident in which a Seminole County Sheriff’s Office Deputy stopped an Orlando Police Department Officer driving 85 mph in a 40 mph zone. Although that officer initially refused to provide identification and drove off from the stop and was later arrested. Prosecutors dropped all charges within eight months, and the officer’s record was expunged and he's still back on duty to this day. In contrast, I was performing legitimate duties, acting within legal and procedural bounds, and was still charged unjustly.

report denied,

- the responding officer on the intersection was speeding causing a collision officers are supposed to stop and clear intersections before passing which both users are at fault
- during the clip you only had your emergency lighting on no siren to alert the CHP you were pulling him over
