What Happened? I was automatically banned by the system for what appears to be “bypassing moderation” or “using another account.” I want to make it clear that I did not use any alternate account to avoid moderation or intentionally break any rules. My friend came over to my house, sat on my porch, and played Ventura on his laptop while connected to my home Wi-Fi. I believe that whatever he did on his own Roblox account caused the system to flag my Wi-Fi or IP address, resulting in my account being banned by association. I was told by staff in general chat that this was a Roblox ban, but after contacting Roblox Support, they confirmed that it was not a Roblox-issued ban and that the action came from the game’s end. I have screenshots of my conversation with Roblox Support confirming this, which I can link if needed.
Ban Reason (as shown in the ban message): Bypassing moderation / using an alternate account (system detection)
Why Should You Be Unbanned? I’ve always respected the community, its staff, and the rules. I’ve shown dedicated activity and even paid $120 for in-game benefits for a month something I fully intended to continue because I genuinely enjoy Ventura and what it offers. I wouldn’t risk that investment or my reputation by doing anything to get myself banned on purpose. This situation seems to have been caused by my friend’s account connecting to the same network I use. I take full responsibility for my connection and will make sure no one else logs in from my Wi-Fi again. I’m asking for a fair review of this situation and a chance to return. I’ve always tried to contribute positively to the community and will continue to do so.
