I can't remember exactly what the ban was for it was most likely FRP, and then the warning on my account right now is for IWS due to me shooting a person that was being told by a staff member to leave the scene as he RP'ed he was reaching for a gun.Approval DocumentHave you received an approval document from a Trust & Safety instructor?(No)If yes, upload the document in PDF format or provide a link to the file: N/AAdditional QuestionsWhy do you want to join the Mountain Interactive Staff Team?I want to be a staff member for Mountain Interactive because, truly, I think I have what it takes to help as much as I can. I have always wanted to be a staff member here, but first I had to get my moderation history straight before ever doing such. I do currently have a moderation history with 2 moderations on my account (I think unless there is 1 less). I have worked for other staff teams before, I have to say, but this entire thing did start in ERLC 😭 but it’s mostly servers I no longer remember or cannot name. I'm just excited to see my chances of actually being a staff member here. What skills or qualities do you have that would make you a valuable member of the staff team?I feel like I can help Mountain Intearctive because I have been staff for multiple other servers before I got here. I guess one of my strengths is just helping others out. I have been given the mentor role here before, if that somewhat contributes/helps to my staff application. In one of my last positions, I was a senior moderator. The owner of the server ended up getting involved in a fight with one of our council members, and the server really no longer exists. one of my last positions I was an administrator before. As again, the owner of the server ended up getting involved in fight with one of the council members and the server that I was in ended up just getting deleted, mainly because I can no longer name it; it was a private server in SCP:RP if you are familiar with such game, we had over 10,000 members on are discord server, which did highly drop, but yeah.Have you been involved in any other communities or teams? If so, please list them and describe your role:As I stated before, it was a SCP:RP Private server it was named Site 45. When I got to senior moderator, I was combined as a discord moderator and in-game moderator (applied for both roles instead of just 1) until I was removed from my role due to giving myself a certain tool in the game that was 1 hit in a private area until explaining exactly what happened in the situation, then I was given my roles back, and I was also an actor (not affiliated with moderation), but I would RP with the community and had a strict quota along with staff as well. I was required to submit the amount of time I was online and take a screenshot of my timer and in-game time. I ended up being #1 on the leaderboard for logging over 8 to even 10 hours on a day.How would you handle a conflict between two community members? If there was really a conflict between two members and if they were fighting each other, I would try to get a feel for what was exactly happening, talk to both of them, and understand why they were exactly fighting/having the conflict they were having. Then, if one of them starts arguing about how another one either broke a rule or another did, I would find out more of what happened, ask for proof and evidence, and then if one of them starts arguing about how another one either broke a rule or another did, I would find out more of what happened, ask for proof and evidence, and then I would try to settle the fight they are having and try to resolve it to the best of my ability. If neither of them broke a rule and just are fighting, I would tell them both to quit as a verbal warning, then step it up as we go. If they end up getting involved again, I would find out who started it and log a moderation for whoever did.Describe a time you had to solve a difficult problem in a leadership or team role:When I had issues with a staff member, I would always go to the website and report them for the actions they had taken and with evidence. I’m pretty sure throughout the entire time I was here I ended up getting 3-4 staff members removed from the team, ranging from abuse of privileges, false moderations against a player, and more reasons that existHow do you prioritize tasks when managing multiple responsibilities?Depending on what tasks are the most important out of the others, deciding which ones are much more important than the others, I would start at the most important responsibility and or then go down from the list from there, knowing the most important one should definitely come first out of the others, and then I will see how these tasks can benefit Sometimes I will make a to-do list on my notepad and see what I have to do, mostly before I continue on with my day, making sure I remember what tasks or things I have to do.What do you think is the most important value for a Mountain Interactive Staff member to uphold, and why?I think an important value for Mountian Interactive staff members is to be responsible for the actions you have done/caused, either completing tasks on time, solving problems, or helping out the community. Helping out does build trust when everyone takes credit for their work and actions; it helps out, and accountability is also open to feedback and learning from any mistakes, which is very important. How would you support and encourage new members of the community? To help out new members as much as I can, they will most likely go in general asking how to verify or how to open a ticket or anything related to a question about the community, and either how the game I will answer them as accurately as I can with their question. i can mostly answer questions the best if it relate to an in-game question or a question about the discord and how things work I’ve been in the community long enough to help out people, as I did as a mentor for mountain Interactive. I am also very active and watching general alot lot. Sometimes I have also helped out staff members with questions, but to the main point again, I can help out people a lot that have questions. What are your long-term goals, and how does being part of Mountain Interactive align with them?My goals for Mountian Interactive are to help out as much as I can, going with moderation, and I have also had thoughts of being a developer here as well, but as of now that isn't very important, and for now I want to focus on helping out the community and team in any way possible. Which would be my main priority as a staff member. I stay here helping out Mountian Interactive. I am looking forward to ranking up and more experience with MI, whether moderation or working with development when the time comes. Are there any areas within the community you feel need improvement? If so, what ideas do you have to address them?Sadly, I have to say its mostly the current staff members we have. I have gone through multiple moderations throughout the entire time I was here, and most of them were false or outrageous reasons I was banned or warned. I am not looking to disrespect anyone here, including the ones that have moderated me and gotten removed from the team, but there have just been way too many incidents like this, and it continues as I go, but I hope that can stop happening.AgreementBy submitting this application, I confirm that:All information provided is accurate to the best of my knowledge.I understand that any false information may result in immediate disqualification or removal from the staff team.Signature: TylerDate: 12/18/2024Thank you for applying!
