After going on duty as a Deputy II with HCSD, I responded to a call for assistance. While on the way, I noticed multiple officers gathered at the location seemingly at high priority. I diverted to the scene with my long arms mounted onto my person. This is when a Deputy told me I cannot have long arms on my person and to remove them immediately. I advised the Deputy that I sure can and I will. The Deputy then cuffed me, removed the guns from my person, and released me from custody. I then advised that I would be getting a moderator to handle the situation as this is now FRP. While doing so, my guns still appeared on my person but was not in my inventory due to a glitch (because he confiscated them). The Deputy continued to tell me to take off the guns or I'd be arrested. As I was waiting for a moderator and simultaniously typing out this report, the Deputy arrested me for "Failure to Comply with Lawful Orders" and booked me. Even after searching me multiple times and observing that I had no guns on my person, the Deputy STILL arrested me. Therefore, even if this was a rule, the arrest would be false as I didn't even have the guns on my person. Below, I have images of the weapons being shown on my character as well as my inventory being shown and the same player who arrested me.
In one of the images below, you can see the offender had cuffed me and allowed a civilian to point a firearm at me and troll me for "Not listening to him". It's one of the most outlandish, unrealistic behaviors I've seen and shouldn't be tolorated. After serving my sentence at the Jail, a Moderator responded to my initial call for help. I advised the Moderator that I no longer needed the assistance due to already writing the event on the Forum Page; to which he then dismissed the case. I then asked the moderator if it was illegal for law enforcement to carry long arms, to which he advised that it was not.
Rules Violated*:
Failed Roleplay (FRP): Police don't arrest other Officers for wearing their Long Guns.
Abuse of Power: The Deputy stated his order was law, whereas there is no rule or law that prohibits me from wearing my long guns. Probable Cause Requirement: There was no vaild PC to arrest me as the wearing of Long Guns is not in any way illegal or an offence under the Ventura Compiled Laws.
False Charges: I was booked for "Failure to Comply with Lawful Orders" whereas there is no law that mandates officers to not wear long guns.
