Additional Questions

  1. Why do you want to join the Mountain Interactive Staff Team?
My plan within mountain interactive is to be an active staff member that can be called upon any time and respond. I notice a lot of people complaining about how there’s no staff ingame and someone’s mass rdming. I plan to be active every day with the freetime I have and provide my support as often as possible. The thought of becoming a person who is looked up to and can be trusted with anything motivates me. I want to provide the best support possible for all members of the community, whilst enjoying playing the game myself. I enjoy having the power to help people and knowing I’m able to change the outcome of someone’s experience for the best. With my activity and constant support of the game, I find this as a way to give back, even though it’s something I enjoy. Joining the Mountain Interactive team will provide me opportunities to enhance my skills in teamwork, deepen my knowledge of law enforcement, and strengthen my abilities in problem-solving and communication.
Please provide a detailed explanation of your motivation, what excites you about being part of this team, and how you see yourself contributing to our goals.

  2. What skills or qualities do you have that would make you a valuable member of the staff team?
My biggest quality is having lots of free time, allowing me to constantly be on the game and on discord. Another area is my grammar, I have been proficient with my grammar for years, which is way above my average level for my age. Previous experiences of moderation will help me handle situations, despite them being different topics, I’m able to bring my negotiation skills.

  3. Have you been involved in any other communities or teams? If so, please list them and describe your role:
I have been apart of many groups within my time on roblox, all of my information regarding positions may be found on my portfolio.

  4. How would you handle a conflict between two community members?
Depending on the situation, it would most likely require video evidence. I’d ask them for a clip or any proof they have that can support both of their claims. If there is evidence present I would proceed to review it and punish them by what is present in their videos. If there is not any evidence I would most likely void the scenario if it’s related to a call. If I am unsure about what I should do I would ask a superior.

  5. Describe a time you had to solve a difficult problem in a leadership or team role:
I am a first year freshman mentor for my school and my senior mentors were not there with me and they usually lead everything. This resulted in us having nothing to do in our meeting with our freshman homeroom. I had decided to take responsibility and found a good quizlet for them to play. This lead to everyone participating, and the kids having fun whilst doing some sort of learning.

  6. How do you prioritize tasks when managing multiple responsibilities?
Depending on what needs to be done, I’d do the most important stuff first, such as in game moderation. This is one of the most important tasks, as it’s what makes this community what it is. I’d most likely sit in game and have it on my other monitor, waiting for help requests and occasionally flying over active areas. Whilst waiting for help requests in game, I’d be busy moderating the discord and forums. This allows me to do at least two nearly simultaneously.

  7. What do you think is the most important value for a Mountain Interactive Staff member to uphold, and why?
Being unbiased. With all of the donator perks, it can sometimes be hard to punish someone who’s funding your community. Remaining unbiased towards donators is a must, ensuring the game stays fair and it doesn’t become corrupt. Another value is multitasking, you get approached by a lot of people in game as staff, even if you’re helping someone already. You also have to deal with discord, and most likely a lot of other stuff. Multitasking is a must to ensure you can dedicate your focus to the most important thing, and not miss details.

  8. How would you support and encourage new members of the community?
Firstly, I would introduce myself and ask them if they need any help right off the bat. I would then encourage them to get invested into the law enforcement areas, and get engaged with activities they have. This will connect them with new people and will allow them to learn the ropes of the game with the support of more experienced members.

  9. What are your long-term goals, and how does being part of Mountain Interactive align with them?
My long term goal in life is to become a police officer in my city. Even though Mountain Interactive is a Roblox community, there’s lots I’m able to learn. Having a staff position allows me to help keep the experience realistic and fair for everybody.

  10. Are there any areas within the community you feel need improvement? If so, what ideas do you have to address them?
I believe there should be more information to getting promoted in departments in the game. I would talk to a high rank within the departments to help give a better insight into things regarding ranks and stuff.

Your explanation of how to handle conflicts could use more detail on how you ensure fairness when there's no evidence. This would help show your commitment to impartiality.
Overall Solid Application.
