Before being warned, I had stopped a man recklessly driving (drifting, weaving through lanes) a Dodge Challenger throughout Florence, with a VHP Trooper as my additional unit. I had stopped him, and asked him to step out to ID him, as an excuse to get him out and arrest him without provoking him or causing him to flee. I couldn't ID him from inside the vehicle anyway as the prompt wasn't there for some reason. I told him at least three times to get out before he finally complied, before he finally listened and stepped out. After he stepped out I grabbed and cuffed him to arrest for the original reckless driving charge and the new failure to comply charge. I told him why he was being arrested, and then went to put him in my car to run him in the CAD, right as he called a moderator. A moderator showed up, and the man I was arresting stated that I abused a bug in order to get out. The moderator told me that I could not do that, before reviewing any evidence from either side. I argued with him shortly over it before giving up, and I was warned for FRP. He let me go with my suspect after that, and the staff scene was over. I believe the warning is unreasonable as the suspect exited the vehicle out of his own will eventually after many verbal commands, and he was being arrested when he exited the vehicle regardless.
