To clarify the incident: the suspect fatally assaulted a peace officer using a deadly weapon before fleeing the scene. The suspect proceeded to evade pursuing units, driving recklessly and intentionally ramming into my vehicle during the pursuit. I exited my patrol vehicle and returned fire after the suspect discharged a firearm at officers before. When I attempted to conduct a lawful stop, the suspect exited his vehicle and engaged in an exchange of gunfire with me. The suspect subsequently made verbal threats to report me after I identified his username and then disconnected from the session to avoid arrest.
