Why are staff apps taking so long to be read?

Some people submitted their staff applications weeks ago and they still haven't been read. Someone even submitted their application 4 months ago and they have yet to receive a response. Maybe they are just joking but if they aren't that is pretty weird. At least send an announcement if yall already have a max ammount of staff members or at least a reason why they are not being accepted.
