Description Of the Incident: I got moderated falsely after I had already gotten talked to about a moderation. For a quick backstory; me and my friends were in Dominoes preparing for a hostage situation, a guy walked in, we aimed guns and told him to get out, he did but ended up pulling out his phone and started calling 911, so I shot him. He called a mod for RDM in-game, but also decided to make a report on the website. The moderator in-game reviewed the clip that the guy sent him, and I explained my point of view and the reason I shot him. In the end, the moderator determined that it wasn’t RDM given the fact that we did have a reason to shoot him, but he did state that I should try to roleplay more before simply shooting someone. I agreed to what he said, and he let me go with a verbal warning. After he unjailed me and was about to teleport me and the guy back to the city (teleported away because of the sirens), I got hit with a ban for RDM + V-OSP. I asked why I got banned, and it wasn’t even the in-game moderator who banned me, it was FirstClassRankedYuta. He banned me because he saw the clip on the website and determined it was RDM even though it wasn’t, and decided to ban me. I was confused and told him I was literally talking to a moderator in-game and he said it wasn’t RDM, so I asked if he could unban me, but he decided to contact IA instead and even IA agreed it was RDM when it wasn’t (separate staff report filed w/ dark). Even after explaining my entire point of view and why I shot him, they still decided to keep me banned, which is why I’m filing a staff report.
