removal of subscription upgrade?

as the title suggests you cant upgrade your subscription anymore, i have been looking around on the discord and no staff member has said anything and no announcements have been made (that i could find)

Is this a bug or is the feature removed

You may be able to upgrade by canceling your current membership and then purchasing the one you want.
