Incident Description*:

Individual falsely arrested me without any prior initiation. I was located at Central-Albany Park standing on the sidewalk and waiting for an opening on a LEO team. I had stood there for some time (as seen in the first (48 seconds) before this incident occured. As seen in the video, the officer pulls into the parking space, gets out and approaches me and then quickly returns to his car without saying ANYTHING. I then run away as I do not know what his intentions are but as I was waiting to join LEO, I did not wish to interact with him if I could avoid so. In this decision, I ran away and he proceeded to exit the car and chase me with a taser. He caught up to me at the other side of the park where I stopped moving, and without any attempt to de-escalate or give a lawful order, I was tased, tackled and handcuffed. He informed me that I was under arrest for fleeing and having an outstanding warrant. He claimed to have verified my ID based on the word of another officer during a previous contact (which of whom I had never spoken to) and never made any attempt to properly verify me (ask for my name, find a wallet, etc). I was then unlawfully searched (which he took my fist) and transported to the jail. At no point did he attempt to verify my ID properly, provide a legitmate reason for a warrant and subsequent arrest and after accessing a LEO team and reading my own arrest report, I was arrested for resisting without violence. No listing of an actual reason to be jailed. I did make a request for a supervisor or SBI and that remained unanswered. During the clip, the name is not observed but was retrieved post incident by screenshot and arrest record.
