What happened:

I sincerely apologize if anything I said offended anyone, and I completely understand that some words can be hurtful. I should clarify, though, that the aforementioned comment was made in a lighthearted and harmless way. I understand that humor can vary from person to person, and what I took to be a humorous remark may have been interpreted differently by others. I didn't think my actions were hurtful to anyone at the time because I didn't make any references to someone's ethnic background in what I said.

I believe I should be unbanned because I didn’t see my actions as hurtful. I am deeply regretful for my words and are looking more into the rules so that this doesn’t happen again. I wish that you take me into consideration, and I am making sure something like this doesn’t happen again.
