Incident Description*:

I pulled over a reckless driver in what appeared to be a stolen police vehicle, upon making contact the individual repeatedly told me he was an officer but made no attempts to confirm or show evidence, leaving me under the impression that he stole the unmarked police vehicle. I proceeded to cuff him and place him in my vehicle, when he exited the vehicle and ran to the stolen police vehicle driving off while still cuffed.
