I wanted to explain my perspective to the moderator, but a moderator didn't show up for about an hour after the mod call was placed by betav2v, as I am looking at the logs. I was playing as RSCO at the time, and there was a suspect in a white stickered hellcat that was armed with a firearm. The suspect fled and ran into an RSCO Tahoe, potentially injuring the officer inside. I ran over with a few other officers, but I was pretty far behind all of them, and they opened fire on the vehicle. I joined them after they stopped shooting. He died in the car, which the RPD officer was inside to check who was betav2v. The vehicle despawned, and he was dead. I fired two additional shots before clearing the scene. Betav2v, who was the RPD officer, ran up to me and tried cuff rushing me and said I was dead checking him. In real-life policing, officers sometimes fire additional shots in high-risk situations to ensure a suspect is no longer a threat. This is also known as a security check and is a valid tactic in dangerous encounters, especially when dealing with armed individuals. My actions were not random or unrealistic, they were consistent with real law enforcement procedures. I was also taught in the military that when dealing with an individual who has the intent to kill, you fire a security round. If you see the clip, he's dead, and I did in-roleplay because how can you save a dead person? His vehicle also disappeared because he spawned another in which further backs my case that I couldn't have dead-checked him if he wasn't alive. Additionally, the person who reported me, betav2v. FRP is stated as follows: "Players may not commit any actions that would be considered as imaginary/non-existent in the real world." There have been cases in the real world where people are not affected, or they have gotten up immediately after being tased. I've seen it happen every single time someone gets tased in Perris and even though I haven't played LA for long I've seen it happen too. Plus, if I was drunk on alcohol or high on fentanyl a Taser wouldn't have much of an effect and would allow me to get up. The whole reason why I got up and shot him was that I was on an adrenaline high and it felt like the officer wanted to kill us since he ran over my friend which legally in California he can't do because that is excessive use of force, I ran from the cops in the vehicle, and on foot, and my friend got magged dumped, and shot before my eyes so of course I would put all my energy into giving some type of action. I also want to say that the cop FRP'd and didn't roleplay hitting a tree at 55 mph. He also immediately pulled out a gun before my friend pulled a gun if you watch closely and when I got up, I backed away and pulled out my gun before shooting him while he was running up to me with his cuffs.
