Date and Approximate Time of Incident* October 12, 2025, around 2:40pm NZDT 6. Location of Incident In-Game (Strikepoint) 7. Detailed Description of Events* An unknown male approached me outside of Strikepoint and made a threatening remark towards me. The male stated that he had had enough of me and then proceeded to reach into his pockets. The circumstances gave me reasonable grounds to believe that the male intended to withdraw a firearm and use it against me. Believing this, I observed the male pull a small black object out that I believed was a firearm and opened fire until the threat was neutralised. Unfortunately, the object he was holding was not a firearm and was in fact a cellphone. The time of day and poorly lit area made it difficult to differentiate between them. The outcome was unfortunate however I don't believe it was unreasonable given the circumstances. Understanding these facts, a member of the VBI who refused to identify herself detained me and had another sheriff (the nominated offender) arrest me for negligent discharge and murder. I don't believe that the incident amounted to murder and I do not believe the officers did their due diligence. I find the arrest to be not just disgraceful but also power hungry as this follows a consistent pattern of unacceptable behaviour by members of the VBI. 8.
