My friend was pepper spraying and tasing a sheriff as PD, and he never said to stop, so we thought he was just chilling with what happened, and I was falsely accused as the officer who was pepper spraying. We thought the sheriff was just playing around with us. If he had told us to stop, we would have stopped immediately I have put a lot of time in Ventura with friends and would hate for all of that to go to waste over a little horseplay that I had no idea was offending the reporting party. I will do better in the future if I am allowed back and will no longer horseplay with random people to avoid situations like this.
