NLR and SI
Appealing Roblox Username: oliveiras9 Appealing Discord ID: 525526242682994692 Warning Date: 4/16/25 Game Where the Warning Occurred: Perris Warning Reason: (If multiple on that day, please list all of them) NLR and SI Warning Appeal: The premises of the appeal should address both the NLR and SI. Context: I engaged in a short shootout while stationary at an intersection, then after I died my friend in the vehicle drove away and engaged in a pursuit. We are a party over 2 thus used VC or "radio" to communicate and I drove to the pursuit location. NLR states: “Do not return to your death location for 15 minutes or if the situation is ongoing. Forget all previous life knowledge.” Per the rules, under subsection 3 of scene interference, Citizens can call / radio their organization members to enter the situation for assistance. Thus I acted on information gained in the new life, and did not break NLR as I did not return to the death location which is the explicit subject of the 2 modifiers "15 minute" or the situation. since my actions were congruent with the rules in gaining new information, and I did not act on old information (especially considering the old information would not help me ascertain the pursuit location, it was across the map) then simply rejoining a related scene to the one you died in is not breaking NLR.

Ban Appeal
Roblox Username & User ID*: oliveiras9 121407699 Discord ID*: 525526242682994692 Moderating Staff Member:Unsure Incident Description*:The clips provided are across a decently large timeframe, so I'll be explaining each situation top down as the clips are provided in the ban embed. References to the context and why they ban is false will be explained below. Clip 1: In the video, you see me and one of my friends in a stolen crown vic. Prior to this, we were being chased (see screenshots below, all clipped) and believed the RPD officer had been leading us around to ambush us, thus establishing the underlying reason why we engaged him. Clip 2 In clip 2, my friend drove to a common spot we both frequent, the shooting range, and during the process of going there he informed me (in my new life) where he was and that he needed help, across the map from where I previously died. The information was gained through means congruent with game rules, which will be explained further below. Clip 3 To be frank, I'm not sure how this relevant considering I am not involved primarily in this clip. I had been chased and involved in shootouts for a long span of time (exceeding 10 minutes if I'm not mistaken) and decided to go deposit cash in the ATM. You can't even see me in this clip, and the person who filmed is the one who entered the spawn area, you can see my vehicle infront of the ATM. Ban Reason*: Why should you be unbanned?*:I'll explain each charge going left to right, and why I believe they are false. NLR The only clip that provides any sort of basis for NLR would be the 2nd clip, but as is quite evident the area is very different from the previous death. The rules state to break NLR you must have "return(ed) to the area where you died" and "act on any information from your past life." As is clear in the clips, I am not in the same area where I died, and I clearly did not act on any information from my past life considering any relevant information was separated from that area. All the new information I gained was through means congruent with the game rules, such as in-game communications like the phone. Further, David has clarified that for organizations/parties over 2, communication through VC can be done in lieu of a radio, which has not yet been released for civ groups. SI X2 For one, this should only be SI x1, considering only one clip has me shown entering any scene, as I stated above and as is pretty clear through a perusal of kill logs or using eyes to compare my avatar, I am not in clip 3. A main condition regarding scene interference is that you may enter a scene if a member of your organization has called/radioed you. (See subsection 3 of SI which states "Citizens can call / radio their organization members to enter the situation for assistance. " As such, I had a valid roleplay reason to enter that is clearly defined in the rules. RDM RDM is defined as "The process of killing people without valid In-Character reasons." Considering there is only one clip provided that shows me in the process of killing anyone, I'll refer to my context as provided above for clip 1. We were in a stolen police vic, being chased, with the victim crashed into us whom we believed had been leading us on. It was within our in-character roleplay and within reason with consideration to the context provided. Further, it would have been within reason had we purposefully crashed our vehicle to end the pursuit early and engage the 2 officers, which was a secondary thought process at the time. MG As I stated above, for parties/organizations over 2 (which we are, and we had 3 on today as well) it has been stated by David explicitly in VC to a number of other organizations that, as we wait for radios to be released to civ teams, VC is usable to communicate within our parties. If the mod reading this appeal has doubts, I'd simply request they ask David, and point to the fact that "radio" is listed as being a civilian device in the rules (SI) despite it not being added and still in development.

oliveiras9 Appeal
Appealing Roblox Username: oliveiras9 Appealing Discord ID (e.g., 709881578058285127): 525526242682994692 Ban Length: 1 Day Moderating Staff Member: Answer. whoscole What game did the ban take place in?: Los Angeles Why should you be unbanned?: The shooting and video in question do not portray the entire context of my reasoning for shooting the cop. Prior to the incident, I had been a part of both a police chase and shootout, which klogs may show. I had seen the cop trailing me and decided to disable the cop in the video to prevent him from joining the chase. This establishes an active conflict and underlying reason for any actions I took against the cops, none of which were random. The game defines RDM as prohibiting killing “for no underlying reason.” Here, the reason was self-preservation within an ongoing RP scene. As well, the entire scenario (chase and shootout) had occurred over a time period of over 15 minutes, and I had been pulled over twice on suspicion of my being a suspect, thus I logically inferred the cops were suspicious or if anything keeping an eye out. I hope upon reviewing the context you may reconsider the entire scenario as a whole. I believe it sets a detrimental precedent should bans be constituted solely on small clips that don't reflect the entire context, although in this case I can see how, without my side provided, it may look as though I shot him for no reason. The logs below will show the 2 people I had killed in the shootout 6 minutes before I shot the reporting user, in between which I did not die once. (I had also engaged officers without killing them) Proof: Reporting user killed: https://discord.com/channels/902369439545180180/1323501671950848134/1340844605993652325 6 Minutes Before reporting user killed: https://discord.com/channels/902369439545180180/1323501671950848134/1340842866888544256 https://discord.com/channels/902369439545180180/1323501671950848134/1340842866888544256

Staff Complaint on ilovchoccake
Roblox Username: oliveiras9 Discord ID (Ex. 709881578058285127): 525526242682994692 REPORTING CONTENTS: Staff Username: ilovchoccake Discord Username or ID: 833415963877441597 Description Of the Incident: Perhaps the worst MI Mod I’ve ever encountered. Me and my friend were in an in-game call on the perris phones talking through roblox VC for the entire duration of our in-game experience. The scene started when my friend said something a long the lines of "shoot them" after we engaged in a shootout. I was in a house across from him, thus a moderator surmised my friend was metagaming for talking to me outside of the game. Evidence below shows we were in a call during the encounter, note timestamp 3:01 in screenshot. A medal clip shows neither I nor my friend ever pulled out a phone during the staff encounter, thus the timestamp shows that we had been in a call beforehand, as well as screenshots of evidence provided to the moderator right after the staff scene started that he ignored. Staff Report: During the entire encounter, choco ignored constant explanation, disregarding the evidence I provided mere minutes into the encounter and protests from both my friend and I. A simple watch of the medal clip shows I was talking in vc, in response to my friend in game as well. My medal clips games, not external audio. Furthermore, my friend does not even have discord, and if he did why would we be talking in game as well? IT SHOULD BE NOTED, THROUGHOUT THE CLIPS PROVIDED THE VOLUME OF MY FRIEND STAYED MODULATED AND THE SAME, INDICATING IN-GAME COMMUNICATION THROUGH THE PHONE SYSTEM.Perhaps the most frustrating part of this encounter is not only his act of ignoring the evidence and explanations for over 10 minutes, but his misuse of the rule metagaming. As stated in the rules, simply the act of communicating does not constitute meta-gaming. As we had been communicating and playing in-character, however the information gained in-character was delivered should not matter as it was NOT OOC. So, even IF we had been communicating through other means, it should not have mattered. Especially when I’ve seen and played with staff who have used discord to communicate in-game actions before. But, again, as was proven multiple times, we had been in an in-game call through the in-game phone mechanics. In a clip taken from the encounter, the staff says multiple different definitions of meta-gaming, in one case even saying any communication that favors a character constitutes a rule-break, and even in-game mechanics are included in this description. Should two people communicating a distance from their victim be punished simply because they did not include the victim in the conversation? Under his definition, simply the circumstances around a communication, no matter if it is OOC or IC, constitutes a break of meta gaming simply because it favors the individuals communicating. Context medal clip: https://medal.tv/games/roblox/clips/jsUQS3uBb3ctRMhvv?invite=cr-MSw0Y0wsMjQ0NDY5OTM0LA ^Sent to the moderator during the scene Committed Offenses: Outlined in the text above, but most important: Purposefully ignoring evidence contrary to the scene, being argumentative, being ignorant during his duties, unprofessional, making up rules as well as being wrong about the rules, targeting us, skipping common procedure when punishing someone for minor infractions, taking my words out of context despite explanation, using the absence of evidence as evidence of guilt, being illogical. Staff Complaint on Nikiee
Roblox Username: oliveiras9 Discord ID (Ex. 709881578058285127): 525526242682994692 REPORTING CONTENTS: Staff Username: nikieeeeeeeeeeeeeeee Discord Username or ID: 796650032425336843 Description Of the Incident: Nikie failed his to properly ascertain context, enforce the rules, and carry out punishment as is obligated well as his act of suggesting california laws to enforce, ones that don’t applicate in any logical sense to a scene. After running out of car to gain time to call an admin for assistance in a false arrest and abuse of tools, I was shot for "attempting to steal a police vehicle” despite the fact that I was outside of a locked police explorer. Upon arriving to the scene and investigating, nikie did admit that it was unnecessary to shoot as I was unarmed, but came to the conclusion he had no rule to enforce (see image attached.) This is in direct contradiction to rules 3, 7, and 9. In the carrying out of his duties, his failure to understand basic arrest procedures, law, or common sense allowed an unlawful and abusive arrest and shooting to not only go unchecked but to be condoned and built upon by suggesting unlawful charges. It is important to note that any base charges that were ascribed for PC were never enforced. It should be noted this wouldn’t be the first instance someone has complained of nikieees lack of law knowledge that he continues to posit. Rule 3 States: “Realistic Roleplay: Ensure your actions, dialogue, and storylines are realistic and fit the setting of Perris, California. Avoid supernatural or extreme scenarios unless permitted during special events.” It is an unrealistic action (FRP) to shoot an an unarmed and non-threatening person. Rule 7 States: “No Abuse of Power: Law enforcement officers should not abuse their authority for personal gain or to unfairly target other players.” It is an abuse of power to shoot an unarmed civilian in an official capacity. Rule 9 makes it clear at the minimum there is consequences for actions, thus to say you have no rule to enforce is inaccurate considering false arrests and shooting when it is not needed both break multiple rules respectively. Committed Offenses: Failed to carry out his duties as a moderator, letting rule breaker go, multiple instances of telling police laws to charge suspects with when they don’t even apply, failure to understand basic procedures, lack of common sense. Staff Complaint on CompanyAlpha
Roblox Username: oliveiras9 Discord ID (Ex. 709881578058285127): 525526242682994692 REPORTING CONTENTS: Staff Username: CompanyAlpha Discord Username or ID: 563881575750828032 Description Of the Incident: CompanyAlpha has expressed unprofessionalism on the multiple instances I saw and engaged him over the span of only an hour. Perhaps the most disconcerting is his complete lack of understanding of the very rules he must enforce. During an instance of false arrest, I called for moderation to help sort out the issue of the false arrest and unlawful use of force, seeing as I have no real avenue of pursuit for legal action in the courts of the game. Per rules in Section 7 (Proper Arrests, No Abuse of Power) and section 3 (Realistic Roleplay) and section 5 (Job Performance, which includes “POLICE OFFICER”) Moderators are obligated to enforce proper arrests and ensure there is no abuse of power, as well as ensure there is realistic roleplay and job performance that is accurate to Perris. All the rules above were broken on the scene when the arresting officers shot an unarmed civilian, unlawfully arrested him for a non-criminal charge, and proceeded with the arrest when the premise/grounds of arrest had no probable cause. Instead of resolving the situation, Moderators CompanyAlpha and nikiee did not do any Rule Enforcement (Outlined in section 8) or investigation, instead offering their own misguided and insubstantial opinions regarding California Law. (More information on mishandling by nikiee in a separate staff report) Below are points in the interaction that constitute my negative review, as well as the above summation. In the attached medal clip, Timestamp 0:09, CompanyAlpha says “There is no Section 7” TWICE In relation to the perris rules, reflecting his lack of knowledge and understanding of the Perris Rules. Not only is section 7 very real, but is one of the most relevant rules in the game seeing as arrests are a crucial system and commonly used. In Timestamp 0:50 CompanyAlpha says “We don’t enforce what they arrest you for.” in response to my argument that since the incident was a false arrest, they should at the minimum void the scene. It is explicitly and boldly stated above the perris rules that “The rules outlined in this rulebook are enforced by Community Staff Members.” I find it another expression of his lack of knowledge that he would not know he has to enforce action against false arrests. Under Section 7 It is stated, “Proper Arrests: Police officers must follow realistic procedures for investigating and arresting criminals. Officers are encouraged to roleplay out the arrest process (e.g., reading rights, handcuffing, questioning).” Thus, it is logical to assume, considering there is a rule that pertains to proper arrests under a section of rules proclaimed to be enforced by staff members that indeed you do enforce things pertaining to arrests such as arrest reasons, as how else would a moderator ensure rules 7,5, and 3, all of which contain rules involving either arrests, the performance of an officer (incl. arrests) and proper roleplay (which includes arrests and thus arrest reasons.) Committed Offenses: Ignorance and lack of understanding of the rules he’s tasked to enforce, unprofessional, argumentative. Time of Occurrence: January 9th at around 3:30 PM Additional members involved/witnessing: nikiee uncapped_edit_1736458152873.mp4
