The clip used as my ban evidence paints me in a bad light and is too short as it hides important context. This is the clip that was used in my ban: https://medal.tv/games/roblox/clips/jZokOZ0bPgMijh5hU?invite=cr-MSxiTEcsMjQ4MzIyMDE2. I unfortunately do not have my own clip that actually shows my perspective, but I hope the story clears up the situation. To start, the guy filming sped down the main road in Perris in his blue truck, drove by a police scene and opened fire on police while staying in the vehicle. Myself and another officer gave chase. The other officer stopped chasing but I continued, he brought me to the middle of nowhere and began driving in huge circles to avoid me being able to ram him or stop him. During this, he was shooting at me from inside his truck and trying to ram me in order to kill me, and he had his friend show up in a white truck (visible in the clip) shooting at me as well. In response, I was opening fire from inside my car back at them both of them, and as I was outnumbered and I hit my panic button. I was unable to describe my location because of how desolate it was, so I doubted I was going to get backup. Towards the end of the clip, you see me walking up to him with my gun out and still opening fire, this is because I had already reached the threshold of lethal force and I knew his intentions were to kill me based on his behaviour, it was also my belief that he had a gun out based on the shooting earlier, but it was hard to see because of the dark lighting and I recognize by watching the clip that he did not have a gun out when I shot him. That being said, my opinion was reinforced when right after I killed him, his friend drove onto a mountain and left to avoid arrest with no intention to RP.
