ACCOUNT BANNED FROM MOUNTAIN INTERACTIVE

Ban Reason: Final Decision: ❌ Appeal Denied – Involvement in Brand Impersonation Server

After reviewing internal logs and the appeal:

  • The user was banned for impersonation as part of a mass moderation action taken against participants in a Discord server that misrepresented itself as affiliated with Mountain Interactive (a violation of Discord’s ToS and MI’s community rules).

  • Regardless of whether or not the user created or actively moderated the server, being listed with a high-ranking role in an impersonation server is taken seriously. This role was not automatically assigned and indicates a perceived level of trust or involvement.

  • [Section 1.5] of our Community Rules ("Common Sense & Community Trust") makes clear that:

    "Any involvement in communities or activities that seek to misrepresent, exploit, or undermine Mountain Interactive or its staff may result in permanent bans."

  • While the user claims they were unaware and intended to leave, this explanation was only provided after the ban and there is no proactive record of them reporting the impersonation or distancing themselves beforehand.

    I was in there for no reason i only joined to check it out i didn’t realize i was given a high role and i was offline at the time and didnt come up for a couple of days and than i was banned when i got back on from mi and j wss gonna leave it as soon as possible
