Why should you be unbanned?: In the clip provided by the complainant, I had just got done clearing a house after two officers were shot. Upon coming outside I observed the complainant try to steal a Riverside Police Department vehicle, upon seeing this I fired a shot at the individual. He ran away from the car and as I began to call, it in he went towards my car which I had forgotten to lock, and was out of range to do so. I fired a single shot as he tried to get in which regrettably hit him in the head killing him instantly. I was too far away to use a taser or any other less than lethal options. I feel as though the ban reason being "RDM" is a bit untrue as he was clearly trying to steal law enforcement vehicles, which contain weapons. He runs up to my door, opens it, quickly takes out his phone and puts it away then runs away. He then retreats to an advantageous position and pulls out the phone while coming towards me, again making me think it is a firearm so I shoot him dead.
