PERMANENT Moderating Staff Member: Answer. (Please refer to Ban List for this information.) @iKotBall1 What game did the ban take place in?: Perris. Why should you be unbanned?: I believe that I did nothing wrong. To explain, my friend, (venelxz) and I were playing in Perris and we were trying to rob the bank, and we were just doing crime. We had 2 separate vehicles, and I was in one, he was in the other. He got pulled over for a simple traffic infraction, and he understood what he did and admitted to it. Instead of the officers citing him, they escalated the situation when my friend was being compliant, to the point where they ordered him out of the car. At this point, I am by the houses, specifically a 2-story house and I'm standing behind the fence right by his car. Out of nowhere, a random person pulled up in a dark blue car, and proceeded to shoot the police, inciting a lethal force response from them (he got moderation action). My friend, who was totally compliant in the vehicle and not apart of that separate situation, was then immediately handcuffed afterwards, and he started to evade (just an arrestable offence) from the shots. That's where I came in, and I hopped from the fence, and I went behind the cop who was attempting to recuff my friend, and he called his K9 on my friend. (NOTE: My voicechat was banned for 5 minutes, but after the 5 minutes, you must rejoin the game for it to re-enable, and I didn't feel like it, and so I hopped on a discord call with my friend for the remainder of the time that we were playing and up until this incident.) At this time, my friend is screaming and repeating for me to shoot the officer so he doesn't arrest him, actively making me apart of the roleplay, as if I wasn't already in it. However, he had cuffed my friend, and I had shot him after, effectively saving my friend. Later on, me and my friend are continuing to play the game, and I get banned RANDOMLY for RDM (image below). I believe that this wasn't right because I was actively apart of the roleplay, and it's not like I was just some random individual who had no voice connection or prior connection to any of the players, and just come up and shoot. Rather, I was speaking to my friend who was getting arrested, I hid away from the police behind the fence and I was actively in the roleplay. I was only limited because it was a split second decision that I had to make between letting my friend get arrested (since the K9 bit him and he was low), or to just simply murder a cop. Plus, it's perfectly realistic, as this situation could've easily happened in real life. Thank you for reading my appeal, and please take this into consideration, as I have spent money on this game previously and I felt as if I didn't REALLY cause any huge incident or anything serious. (Please refer to Ban List for this information.) N/A (cant find it) What game did the ban take place in?: Los Angeles, California Basically, I was roleplaying as a bus driver, and I was in a chase. Some cop in a pickup truck flashes his lights to pull me over, and I start running. After about 15 seconds of him chasing me, my game is glitching, as I see my bus moving, but he’s stationary (just stopped). I get an error disconnected message, and when I rejoin the game, I find that I was banned for 2 days for LTAA, when my game simply crashed due to wi-fi. So, if I could get unbanned, I’d appreciate it. - Additional
