Provide evidence of your trial moderation experience (links, screenshots, logs, etc.): Uploading Attachment... Moderation HistoryDo you have any active warnings or bans within the past 6 months?: Yes Have you ever been permanently banned?: No. If you answered "Yes" to any of the above, please explain: I was banned for LTAA because of stupidity during an okay night about 2 months ago. It was a stupid moment, but all people have dumb moments sometimes, but I hope that it doesn’t hold me back from being apart of the MI staff community. Additional QuestionsWhy do you want to join the Mountain Interactive Staff Team?: I think, personally, that joining the MI team could allow me to better the community and connect with those around it when I am available to do so. I’ve seen many other community staff members throughout my time in MI games, and have seen what they do: to do what is needed to be done to better the community. Sometimes, these staff members will do certain actions to entice the RP, others will get rid of those to better the experience so those who enjoy and keep on enjoying the game without interruption. Though, what excites me is the connection across the board with all staff members, hearing that they all respect each other in some ways to help out every once and while. On another topic, I do see myself improving the yield of returning players. Most of the time, players will not come back to play if their experience was, sorry but, **** while they play. Its either the factor of bad staff actions, lack of community outreach, or just bad players in general. If I have the powers to improve a community and gain prior players back, I would try my best to entice and improve the gaming experience since those prior players are the group that will help newcomers, while also teaching them the ways of how MI games work. Plus, they can teach the rules that MI enforces, thus lowering the amount of moderation that the staff team will have to put up with on a daily. What skills or qualities do you have that would make you a valuable member of the staff team?: I am able to exercise critical thinking skills into my work, thus improving the efficiency of the mission that moderation carries out on MI. For example, if an altercation occurs between two or more people on Discord or on the games, being able to use my skill will significantly help both people out in the short or long term depending on the severity of the situation. Even though my skill cannot fit in some zones, I am willing to learn more in order to gain more skills to apply them into being a staff member helping the MI community. Have you been involved in any other communities or teams? If so, please list them and describe your role: I have been involved in the Traits of War RP community, set as a moderator to help out with the requests of admins/managers or players. As of this time, our accomplishment is that we are all trying our best to plan out ToW: Campaigns, a story driven campaign that will shape the lore of the game which has just started recently in order to boost the player experience. We have been lacking on returning players, so this is our best shot on proving ourselves to the community that we are still functional and can do these campaigns with ease as time passes and the story shapes itself. How would you handle a conflict between two community members?: Depending on the situation, usually two people arguing over reasonings over actions (i.e. Assaulting, killing each other) that can get them moderated, I can handle these easily because most start due to dumb reasons and can be sorted out with a clip or two to handle and see what occurred to the present point. If one is guilt and the other isn’t, one gets moderated. If both are guilty, both will be moderated. If both are not and have valid points to their actions that took place, no moderation and I’ll probably just give a little recommendation after the situation is handled correctly by I or staff that is helping. Describe a time you had to solve a difficult problem in a leadership or team role: From what I recall, there hasn’t been a time when I had to solve a difficult problem in a team because most are solved easily by helping each other. But, if there was an extremely difficult problem that occurred in my life, it would always be best to organize the steps to which we solve this problem. We all would take it step by step in order to do the task at hand correctly, while also in a swift manner so we do not waste time on other topics. If everything works out, perfect, but if nothing works out to solve that extremely difficult problem, we will all try again with better planning. How do you prioritize tasks when managing multiple responsibilities?: To get these tasks done, I’d select the hardest one to do first, preferably with some help in order to see a better picture onto solving the task at hand. It will always be better to have help, usually, if the person you work with is on line with your expectations. After the hardest task is finished, I will keep on going down the severity list until the easiest task is completed in a quick fashion. Explain your time-management strategies and how you stay organized when balancing competing priorities. What do you think is the most important value for a Mountain Interactive Staff member to uphold, and why?: Integrity is always the most important value that staff members should uphold, even as everyday normal people, we should uphold ourselves to a standard of honesty in our work. Staff shouldn’t lie to our customers (players) who are willing to work with us to improve the overall community experience, plus never at all to those who outrank us because they all hold the superiority to use their powers to discipline us. Integrity is what holds us together and if that breaks down, why serve and help people or work with fellow staff if you are going to be dishonest with your work in MI and in real life? How would you support and encourage new members of the community?: Overall, just help those who need the help, maybe if its just even a minor call that can be solved very quickly. If those people who called for help actually get a good experience of staff intervention, most are for sure to notice and will be encouraged to work with staff again. Just doing what is needed that the community needs will both support and encourage them to use what is given to aid when not abused. What are your long-term goals, and how does being part of Mountain Interactive align with them? Long term wise, I plan to do what is needed by Mountain Interactive corpo and staff for the most part. If I am offered a promotion through any means, I will gladly accept the promotion and take whatever responsibility that is passed down onto me. Though, being apart of Mountain Interactive will help me no matter what, become apart of something big which will continue to grow as time passes in the 2025 year and the next. Share your aspirations and how this role fits into your personal or professional growth. Are there any areas within the community you feel need improvement? If so, what ideas do you have to address them? N/A, I feel that the community is fine at the time, no improvement needed, as seen by returning players continue to come back and encourage RP and fun.
